Sorry I swallowed the beef patty immediately so I couldn't take a pic but omg DELICIOUS! I've never had Jamaican cuisine & I am officially obsessed & will be coming back!!! Thank you DK for making my first experience great!

Chicken curry

Bland chicken curry. Doesn't taste like curry seasoning at all. They blamed DoorDash for leaving out a meal we clearly paid for and it was on receipt then told us to go through DoorDash and they can't help. Called back to say we can't go through DoorDash cuz we will be charged Again. 90 minutes later we finally get the same bland meal. Never going back. Sadly. Was looking forward to it.

Jerk chicken entree

This was our first time ordering here and we'll definitely be back. The staff was so friendly, the place was pristine and the prices great for how much you get. As far as the food, we got the oxtail, jerk chicken and beef patties with coco bread. It was absolutely delicious! Perfectly spicy and seasoned, the meat was super tender and cooked with love. Patties were nice and crispy on the outside and the rice was cooked perfectly. They also have a great selection of beverages and juices. It's hard to find good Jamaican spots like this in certain parts of Long Island and we're so glad we discovered this gem.

Jerk Burger A+++

The Jerk Burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. You won't regret ordering this or anything else at Jackee's!

a tray of food with meat and rice

Aunt Jackee doesn't miss everything there is fire. If youre craving some amazing home cooked Jamaican with love give her a shot it is worth it. I highly recommend the Jerk Chicken and oxtail

Red snapper

I ordered food while working at stony brook it was horrible not only was the presentation sloppy when it arrived. The 18.00 plate of snapper was absolutely disgusting. No flavor the cabbage wasn't properly cooked it was really horrible.

I was surprised to see Jamaican food around this area so I stopped by. The jerk chicken and rice was very good.

We came back for the shrimp!! The name may have changed, but the atmosphere and FOOD are just as…read morewonderful as our first time! If you haven't been to Rumba yet, put it on your list of places to go on Long Island. The shrimp appetizer is absolutely the best anywhere, cooked perfectly and topped with the sauce combination that is almost magical!

Rhum to Rumba…read more... It's clearly been a while since I've been here, although the outside and the inside still look familiar, something about the overall feel felt different. For drinks, I was thinking about ordering a margarita, but our server mentioned the mojito specials. I quickly switched up and ordered the coconut mojito. My husband tried the mango passion fruit mojito, but it was extremely sour and had to be sent back. Unfortunately, the second drink he ordered also wasn't to his liking. I ordered the coconut mojito, the drink itself was good, but between the narrow glass and all the ice, it disappeared pretty quickly, which felt different from past experiences. Now Let's talk Dominican Ribs ... OMG...the thing that hooked me here the first time... The flavor was spot on, clearly that recipe has not changed. They fall off the bone, tender with that sticky sweet lick your fingers kind of special but they too were a little different. A little dainty. I just found my picture from 2019 and did a side-by-side. We also ordered the chicken wings and they to me didn't have a special feel. They were reminiscing of the ones I grab at Costco for my family barbecue. Good but didn't have that Caribbean inspired taste and they were not so, fall off the bone.
