    Yakeev was the best!

Good Bickle has the best Jamaican food on the island! Hired them to cater a family party and everyone loved it. The food was amazing! Highly recommend!

Very good! The fried chicken was a 10 out of 10. I also shared the jerk chicken platter with my friend and it came with a couple cooked plantains, cabbage, rice, and beans. This was also really good but if you're super sensitive to heat/spicy then skip the jerk sauce. But everything was cooked really well, and the chicken was juicy and not dry at all. I'm excited to try the mac and cheese looked delicious as well as other dishes there. Definitely recommend.

My order from seamless. Go in person. A much better idea of the food.

Great fresh food ! I ordered multiple items. All of them were fantastic. I would suggest that you ask for extra spicy with certain items. I ordered medium and could have went hotter. I love spicy hot food and some people don't. The Bang bang sandwich is really good as is the curried goat ! I certainly will be back !

Really excited about this place. They just opened so it seems like things are getting worked out still. I have had both the vegetable patty and the jackfruit patty both are vegan. Can't wait to try more, looks like they are gonna have some really good vegan options.

The food was good but I paid 20$ for literally 4 pieces of ox tails. They charged me 20.64 for 4 pieces of ox tail and 2 cups of white rice. I don't think I'll be going back.

Nestled in a perfect corner spot in a cozy hidden shopping mall, Chef Mark Evans and his partner created this much needed Caribbean hideaway with amazing food, fun atmosphere, fantastic staff and the warmest welcoming high energy vibe with fantastic music to boot. We ordered to go this time... The curry chicken :fall off the bone greatness with the most perfectly seasoned curry that enveloped the meat and not drowned it. The curry goat :has some deep deep flavor and was so tender and not chewy in the least bit. The stewed oxtails: were also braised to melty perfection. Loved that the rice and peas #1 had tons of flavor and wasn't just cooked in water and some salt, #2 the peas were not the usually red kidney beans that is normally used, but pigeon peas which I love more and balanced the rice perfectly. The callaloo is not mushy and the cabbage salad is addictive! Ordered the bun & cheese and my 4 yo devoured it. I really liked the addition of the guava paste but the only thing I ask is that they up the cheese slice, I'm used to a THICK slab of cheese between the delicious fruit cake like slices of bun and this one came with a super thin slice of cheese that literally just melted into the guava paste. Cannot wait to join Chef Mark and his staff and dine there next time very very soon! So happy to have them as part of my rotation of restaurant and take out here! Eat local!

It was cilantro lime shrimp and rice wrapped in a crepe, and drizzled with a cilantro lime cream sauce. The space is intimate and it feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your family's home in the islands. The colorful decor, dancehall tunes and positive vibes created the perfect atmosphere. There is also outdoor patio seating. Chef Marcus was the perfect host. He made my dining experience so fun and festive! If you're looking for good Jamaican food and a fun island vibe in the Hamptons - Miss Shanty's is the spot!

No for real they offer an array of Jamaican food freshly made daily! The jerk chicken, the beef stew and the curry goat all looked so delicious. I started my adventure by being blown away by the interior and ambiance, it's like walking into a little restaurant in the heart of the beautiful island of Jamaica. The music, the vibes and definitely that intoxicating smell of the food makes it all worth it! Highly recommend trying out their mouth watering, tender and fall off the bone Oxtail tale. I got a large and it was perfectly delicious. Fall off the bone tender Oxail meat, with the mixture of spices and juices dripping off my fork when dig into their Mac and cheese, cabbage and Plantains, they all complement the Oxtail perfectly. Definitely have to stop in by, you won't be disappointed.

Surprise Charges Beware!…read more The food was honestly just okay, I got the oxtail dish and it was alright. My bigger issue is with their pricing. The online menu lists one price, but about 10 minutes after placing my order I got a notification that I'd been charged an extra $5. When I called, they told me the prices online 'haven't been updated.' That's not acceptable if your menu lists a price, customers shouldn't have to worry about surprise charges after they've already placed an order. Feels like false advertising and left a bad taste in my mouth, regardless of the food. Tip for others: double-check your total before ordering so you're not hit with unexpected charges.

For drinks, I was thinking about ordering a margarita, but our server mentioned the mojito specials. I quickly switched up and ordered the coconut mojito. My husband tried the mango passion fruit mojito, but it was extremely sour and had to be sent back. Unfortunately, the second drink he ordered also wasn't to his liking. I ordered the coconut mojito, the drink itself was good, but between the narrow glass and all the ice, it disappeared pretty quickly, which felt different from past experiences. Now Let's talk Dominican Ribs ... OMG...the thing that hooked me here the first time... The flavor was spot on, clearly that recipe has not changed. They fall off the bone, tender with that sticky sweet lick your fingers kind of special but they too were a little different. A little dainty. I just found my picture from 2019 and did a side-by-side. We also ordered the chicken wings and they to me didn't have a special feel. They were reminiscing of the ones I grab at Costco for my family barbecue. Good but didn't have that Caribbean inspired taste and they were not so, fall off the bone.

I wish I can give this beautiful establishment a 100/100 for their hospitality and food quality. Earlier Today with my experience at Island Empanada, I had to give their 10 empanadas for $37 a try. For the first 5 I choice chipotle beef and for the other 5 I chose the Philly cheesesteak. Both were extremely delectable. The sweet heat of the chipotle beef was amazing. Juicy beef with that oil dripping from it held all together by the thick empanadas dough layer. Locking in all of the flavors and juices. The Philly cheesesteak has to be my favorite. It's like you don't have to go to Philly to try their famous cheesesteak hahaha! Highly recommend trying the empanadas with their signature in house hot sauce! It has a little kick to it but it's nothing overpowering. But folks nothing beats the heat with GEWY CHEESE! You have try their cheese quesadilla! Gewy melt cheesy in a flour tortilla, ya can't beat that! Ever! I would like to give a major shout out to Lucas. A gentleman that was less fortunate than us came into the restaurant and did not have the money to buy something to eat and so without hesitation, Lucas went around the counter and gave their less unfortunate gentleman 3 empanadas and a drink. I found that experience very heroic. Lucas, you have won my heart and I would like you to know that you're doing an amazing job. Thank you for being a gentleman! And a beautiful soul.
