I used to get my haircut by Jack when he was at Gene Juarez at the Bravern. He was so good that once I heard he left the company, I searched all over the internet to find him and continue to get my haircut from him! I'm a Seattle native and struggle with finding a good barber. I have Asian hair which has a tendency to stick out straight when it's shorter. I've gone to cheap barbershops for $20/haircut to expensive salons for $95/haircut all just in search of a great barber who can cut my hair well. Most of the time when I leave the barber shops, I'm not usually 100% satisfied with my haircut. Jack is the first barber I've found that I actually leave without any complaints about my hair. My hair comes out great that day. There's no waiting period for it to grow into a good shape, there are no awkward side lengths that are angled awkwardly, it just looks amazing until I need another haircut (I get a cut every 4 weeks). Every once and a while, when Jack's booked and I urgently need a cut, I'll see another barber somewhere. They do a pretty good job and I'm usually satisfied, but then I'll return to Jack and remind myself why I drive all the way from Seattle to Bellevue just to see him! Jack is also a really nice guy, super easy to talk to. I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community and I never feel any judgement from him. He is always polite and respectful. I've been having Jack cut my hair for about 2-3 years now and I will continue to see him until he retires or either of us move away. Go see him if you want an amazing haircut! read more

Jack did a great job with my hair. A little hard to figure out where to go and how to find the place but after your first time it should be easy. * it is in the area with all other hair places. read more

Outstanding barber. He really tried to understand what I wanted and took his time on the cut. I have been trying to find a good barber over the the past year. Some were bad, some were inconsistent, but most were just very average. Jack does a great haircut in a relaxing environment. read more

$81 for a haircut?! Seriously? That is essentially double the cost of a haircut. Can't believe anybody would charge so much.

Just got my hair cut. The space is clean and was disinfected between clients. It was nice to have a stylist that takes their time. His quality and skill really showed through. I will definitely be back. read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Jack for several years now and have never been disappointed. If fact, I've never been more pleased. He does an excellent job each and every time and is extremely easy to work with. Jack also cuts my teenage son's hair and my son was equally pleased. Jack used to work at a high end salon nearby (rhymes with Bean Suarez) but recently opened up his own space just off the NE 8th exit of 405 in Bellevue. He takes his time to do the job right and never seems rushed. With regard to COVID, the space is clean, Jack wears his mask throughout the appointment, as did I, and then I saw him disinfect everything as I was leaving. It was very easy to make an appointment and pay using the Square app. The location is great for me and there is ample free parking in the adjacent building. I just hope that by writing this review I don't make him so popular that I can't get an appointment when I need my hair cut again :) read more

He does a really good job on cutting my husbands hair. I'm very picky about his hair & Jack did exactly what we wanted.

I highly recommend Jack the Barber. His attention to detail and quality is outstanding. I grew my beard out during the covid pandemic, and wanted to keep it after return to the workplace. He made it look very polished and presentable for a workplace setting, while keeping the character of the beard. A true man of his craft. Love my cut. Thanks, Jack! read more
