Love the new building, plenty of room and a nice outdoor balcony. They still have the oak barrels for tables from the old place. I usually get the Vengeance, with a slight jalapeño bite to it when I want something lighter or the Big Buck Brandywine for something more full bodied. They usually have a food truck out front if you have the munchies. Highly recommend this brewery! read more

This is my destination brewery. I drove up from the cities to try the beer and get a feel for the taproom. I loved it! The atmosphere is great, all wood taproom with the brewery visible. There was plenty of space to sit back and have a pint or flight. Speaking of flight, that's what I had. I tried 5 brews: Dead Branch, Duck Pond, Fenceline, Harvest and Incognito. By far the best was the Harvest, followed by Fenceline and Duck Pond in a close second. Finally the 2 above average brews were Dead Branch and Incognito. That's right, there wasn't an average or below average brew in the house. I was very impressed. Jack Pine brews awesome tasting beer! In the end, I left with a couple of growlers (Fenceline & Duck Pond). Unfortunately I couldn't take the Harvest home with me as it was taproom only. It's definitiely worth a stop here if your going up to a cabin or just passing through. Make sure you stop on in. read more

Great taproom staff and some very tasty beers in a warehouse style building. The jalapeño cream ale is very tasty without being overbearing on the jalapeño peppers. Be sure to try the campfire Smore's stowed which comes with mini marshmallows like a real Smore's! This was a nice craft brewery that was very put together. My husband ordered the Beer Flight #1, and I ordered the Hornet's Nest but also tried a few sips of his flight, too. My favorite was still the Hornet's Nest. I like the lighter beers and enjoyed the hints of honey and lemon. My husband enjoyed the Duck Pond, a nut brown ale. He enjoyed it so much, he forgot to give me a sample. There were two other interesting brews I'd like to try another time. One had hints of jalepenos, and the other interesting one had hints of mangos. Growlers are available as well as shirts, hats, and glasses. Stop by for a taste in their taproom! read more

The mister and I stopped in before heading to a graduation ceremony, not realizing it was the grand opening. The customer service was great, and the brewery itself had a ton of seating as well as game options and super clean bathrooms. We tried about 8 different brews (and I don't think that was half of the ones available--they've got a massive line up) and thought they were OK. Some seemed a tad flat, which might have been a volume problem on the busy weekend. Great patio! read more

First time to this Brewery. We had a 5 5 ounce flight of our choice of beers and was very happy. I would recommend the blood orange, and the black bear if you like a heavy chocolate coffee type. Of course fence line is probably a popular choice as well. The only negative I can say is they need more sit down seating as opposed to stand up.. there is no food in the winter time so FYI. Phenomenal craft beer brewed right in town. The beer literally only travels a few feet before reaching your glass. So tasty!

Only a couple places to sit. The rest stand at bar height tables. Beer is good but not very relaxing.

This is our favorite stop when we go to Brainerd. Outdoor seating has tall pines around it and dogs are welcome. They have at least 20 different beers on tap to choose from. Our absolute favorite is the Dead Branch cream ale. Other favorites are Hornets Nest, Fenceline, and Duck Pond. You've got to try the jalepeno beer with tomato juice on Sunday. read more

The smores beer might be one of the most delciously unique I've ever had without being weird for weird sake. So good. The staff is excellent and they have a wonderful loyalty program. I don't get to this area often but when I do I will be back and I will be looking for their beer in the twin cities. Stopped in on the way up to the resort for a couple of beers. Nice little start up. Friendly people. They seemed to have a lot of beer with adjuncts (blueberries, lemon, etc). I am not a fan of those styles so I sampled their pale and their brown. Both were solid. I would rate 3.5 stars but rounded up because they are providing a great service for the north lakes region and because I love their attitude. Keep up the good work guys. read more

They have sour beer sometime, small tap room for now no pints of ipa ever just twelve oz when they have their experimental ipa's on tap.

This place is phenomenal. I didn't have a bad beer there. Helles was awesome and the jalapeño beer is great. Try the orange beer also.

The highlight... 5 bucks for a fresh made beer! 16 oz. I've tried everything.. good stuff! If you go anywhere else for the same beer that serves food $6.50....THAT SIMPLY IS NOT RIGHT! Avoid the boulder brewery. Slow servers, old beers. The bartender is not sensitive to whether you actually like the the beer you have chosen. Customer service is always first.
