My family and I went on Sunday, August 16th and had the time of our lives! We had been here last year around this time, as well! Got there at 11:00am or so, and left at around 7:45pm. This just shows how much there is to do here, and how great it is for everyone! Some of us wanted to do the smaller rides, (the dragon (a kiddie ride) coaster, wave blaster, over the rainbow, and more!) and others wanted to do the big ones (untamed, yankee cannonball, Boston tea Party), and everyone appreciated and was happy with the rides that they did! For lunch, we went to the Sons of Liberty tavern, which is just across from Boston Tea party, the big flume ride. (Don't worry though, it's just out of the splash zone!) It was a little pricey, but everyone loved their food. For snacks around the park, you've got a lot of options. We got a bag of popcorn, Italian ice, and strawberry dole whip! (since they were unfortunately out of pineapple) Line-whise, the longest one we waited in was for Yankee Cannonball, which was around a 45 minute line. (The ride was awesome and worth it, though.) So, overall, we have had great experiences with Canobie Lake Park!! Thanks for reading, -A PRO TIP:: Once you enter the park and go through security, make sure to grab a map near guest services at the entrance and plan out your route a little. It helps!

Plus all you can eat chicken, hot dogs, burgers, soda, and some salad options. Then you get to go on all the rides. It was a nice day spending with my work friends and got a nice day at Canobie! Plus the Taylor Swift show this year was awesome! She had three shows, and two different sets! I liked the second set since it was Taylor's newer songs. Olivia did a great job--she looks and sounds like Taylor.

If you are a Fan of those Pirate movies then you've got to experience the Real Thing! The tour combines fun interesting facts about the history of Boston plus they show you many points of interests both past & present still standing in the city. They even throw in some Pirate stories as well like Sam Bellamy & The Widdah. The crew is all dressed in Pirate attire so you really get the whole Pirate experience. We had Captain Mckinnon & Captain Mead. Both Kids & Adults will like this nautical adventure in the 7 Seas. They even let the kids help hoist the sails. This is Great to put on a future resume - Yup I helped sail a Pirate Ship. LOL! It gets chilly on the seas so bring an extra jacket. They also have Free Blankets they pass out if you're cold. You'll pass by The TD Garden, The Zakim Bridge, The Old North Church, The Seaport Area, Legal Seafood, The Rebook Headquarters, Logan Airport, The Charleston Navy Yard, The USS Constitution & many other sites. Knowing that I could have timed this better, I'm still giving this park 3 stars. The incredibly rigid rule that no outside food or drink is allowed really rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, you're definitely making the entry fee- so you shouldn't hold guests hostage in terms of food and drink. I did bring an empty water bottle to fill- but there isn't a full station super close to the INCREDIBLY hot, shadeless inflatable park. This, along with the employees sitting under umbrellas that were too small to adequately shade them, left me with the feeling that our health and safety could have been prioritized better. There were multiple inflatables without attendants to show users what to do- and that felt like a problem, given the steep entry fee.

A lot of reviews talk about the uncomfortable chairs, hot sun, etc. I have no idea what they were talking about because we rented a cabana that was comfortable and very clean. Outside of that were tons of tables and comfortable chairs and loungers WITH UMBRELLAS. Don't like the lines at the snack bars? They have tons of waiters and waitresses taking orders and delivering your food to you! There were seven of us that came and from children to adults, all enjoyed it. The expectations that people have for this place are unreasonable! ALL of the information about what to expect - from socks and requirements to prices for food and admission - it's all there. The place is only opened for a few months and have a huge staff, so of course you have to pay for that! Our experience was amazing and we all look forward to going again next year, maybe for two nights. My ONLY SUGGESTION would be to keep the inflatable park open a bit longer, even into October. My grandkids loved it but it was soooo hot they couldn't really feel comfortable. All in all, some of the complaints on here are ridiculous and issues could have been eliminated If they had just done their homework! Thanks for a great celebration for my birthday! See you next year!!

My son has a weird affinity for goats so this was basically his heaven. We really didn't leave the goat area for long. The only other thing we did was the hayride, which was amazing and the animals come right up to the truck. I loved learning about all the different animals they have on the farm. We went in October and the goats were dressed up for Halloween which was adorable. My son loved the area where you can sit and hold the baby goats. For my goat loving son, it's definitely worth the fall trip.

There are tons of smaller animals like goats and chickens roaming freely in big open areas, which gives kids so many chances to pet and interact with them. My toddler especially loved the pony ride, and the hayride was another highlight. The farmer guiding the tour over the speaker kept things light and funny. Everyone who worked there was so kind and helpful. We went right after summer break when the weather was perfect, and it was a great time to go--low crowds and absolutely no wait times for anything. We also grabbed food at the BBQ restaurant on site, and it was surprisingly good--definitely worth stopping for food. The only downside is that entry tickets are a bit on the expensive side, especially if you're going as a whole family.
