I placed an online order for some tacos, a burger and some curly fries. I ordered six tacos (three orders) and when I got home, we noticed there were only five tacos in the bag. I live about 10 minutes outside of town, so I called the restaurant to speak with someone just to let them know I was driving back to get my taco. No answer, the line was busy...I called back five more times but nothing. I get to the restaurant and found the manager outside smoking with another gentleman, not sure who he was. The cashier who originally gave me my order the first time opened the window and I explained what happened. She asked me if I wanted the taco or a refund. I pretty much lost my appetite by this point, so I said I will just get my money back. Not once did I demand a refund for the whole meal which was $14.00 and change, just the one taco. She was nice at first and told me to pull around to the front. All of a sudden, her "professional" manager came busting through the front doors saying that she needs the food and credit card I used in order to process a refund. I told her I left the food at home for my family to eat but just wanted a refund for the one taco since I purchased six and only got five. The man I saw her smoking with then joined her at my car window and said there would be no refund for the order and I said, "Sir, I am not requesting a refund for the entire meal, just the one taco!" He said because I did not bring the food back there was nothing he could do. Meanwhile, the manager is yelling that she personally verified the order and checked it twice, etc. I told both of them why in the world would I drive all the way back to town for one taco??? BECAUSE I PAID FOR SIX AND RECEIVED FIVE, that's why!!! By this time, the manager stormed back into the restaurant and the original cashier came outside to get in on the bullying game. I asked her in front of the man to clarify that I only wanted my money back for the taco, when all of a sudden she turned on me saying that I did request a refund and they have me on camera requesting a refund. I say pull the camera footage and no where will you hear me asking them to comp my meal. This is a prime example of terrible management, terrible coaching and some bizarre game to be "right" over one little taco. Sad. read more

Drive 20 minutes, one way, 40 minutes round trip. Checked site ahead of time for hours. Was at order menu at 9:50pm. They said "we're closed, we close at 10, but stop taking orders at 9:50. I will be making a complaint with corporate in the morning. JIB WHARTON TX LOCATION. read more

You know, I hate to give a bad rating on a restaurant after one time, so I tried it twice before writing this. The first time I went was around 8am and there were 3 cars ahead of me. I waiting in line without moving for about 5 minutes before pulling away and leaving, not one single car was served in that time. Everyone was in the same place as they were when I pulled up. Having worked in fast food before, that is purely unacceptable. A car should be in and out in 90-120 seconds from the time the order is started. The second time there was no car ahead of me. My order was taken quickly and very politely. I was very impressed and hopeful for a good experience. I pull up to the window and pay. She hands me my coffee- Thanks!! :) Then I wait. And I wait. I look at the clock and mentally make a note of it. Here is what got me. I watched the lady take a large cup, go over to the coffee pot, empty it into the cup, walk back over to the soda fountain and pour it out! She did this twice, then took the coffee grounds out and threw them away and made new coffee! She gave me old coffee, poured out the rest and then made a fresh batch! Really?!? I still waited. 7 minutes later I get my order. You know, it just wasn't worth the wait. Go to another establishment. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! We stopped here on our way to Corpus Christi (from Houston). There was one person in front of us in the drive through. Desperate and hungry, we relied on Jack in the box to fill us up with usual jumbo Jack and tacos. Except we had to stay in line for 15 minutes!! (literally!) It was even enough time for my husband to come out and check the car oil.. Lol! We couldn't get out of the line, bc they have that concrete border surrounding you. When we drive up to the window, we get over-charged 3 dollars, and no reciept. I think the complitely stoned guy at the window pocketed our money. Our tacos had a DARK brown shell (I guess that's what they had deep frying so long), and tasted like old bitter oil. best part: Jumbo Jack had brown wilted slimy lettuce, old tomato and super soggy bun. Keep your sanity, and visit the Mexican restataunt across the street. In the amount of time we spend at J.I.t.b., we couldn't enjoyed some real food! read more

Store is not very visible from street and is not lit at night. Parking spaces are cramped and drive thru blocks parking if busy. People are rude and hardly ever get orders right. Food is good though. Worth the price paid. read more

Came by at 12am, store was lit up and was open. It is a 24hr location. Waited 3 minutes and no one ever acknowledged the speaker. After another couple of minutes I drove up and no one was visible in the restaurant, like staff was MIA. Definitely no one was manning the drive through. This store just reopenned after Harvey damage but sadly service is still bad. read more

Everyone gave this place 1 star but lets be honest here. This is a Jack in the Box!!! What do you guys expect!!! Ill give it an extra star because, ya know what? It tastes like a jack in the box. I would give more stars but the last time i went here i had to wait 20 minutes to get my order!!! The speaker was broken in the drive thru so i had to give my order at the window which was fine and they had me park out front. About 4 more cars were told to park out front as well that got there after me. I waited 20 minutes and then she finally brought like 5 orders out at the same time!!! My problem here is i had the first order and they made it first but waited until they had all the orders ready before bringing them out. In other words my food was sitting there getting cold while i waited because the employee was too lazy to walk the orders out one by one!!!. Will i come back here? Yeah i probably will because, like i said before, its a Jack in the Box and at least the food quality doesnt change read more

Ok, they take 30 minuets to make 2 sandwiches and a drink. No other customer was there and it took 30 minuets. I also saw a employee scratch his ass in the front of the building, so I don't think I want to go here ever again. read more

Should have listened to the other review on this place. It's way off the highway and it's in a sketchy place. The cashier had an attitude. We ordered a number 3, 10, & 11. All mediums. When given our drinks she gave us two mediums and a small. I asked why and she said because one of the orders was a "burger order". ? Anyway to avoid conflict with this lady I asked if I could upgrade it to a medium sized drink, she said it'd be thirty cents extra. We had already paid with a card, so I went back to the vehicle, got thirty cents, and got the cup. Once that was taken care of we noticed on the receipt that she had charged us for three number 10's, the most expensive price of the three combos. So we were overcharged and our order was wrong. I'd also like to mention that while we were there, a woman came in and said she had asked for no gravy on her order and she had been given the wrong kind of fries. I would recommend going to either the whataburger or buckees if stopping in this area. Either that or keep goin. Definitely not worth it. read more
