The Los Cucos in El Campo is another example of uneven quality control in the Los Cucos restaurant chain. The food here was good, even very good. There were no inedible or disgusting surprise additives found in the food. That was the good news. The bad news was that this Los Cucos is apparently not located in a "no fly" zone. I believe the management at this Los Cucos should consider implementing a "no fly zone" policy similar to the highly successful "no fly zone" program pioneered by U.S. Armed Forces during the Iraq war. In addition to the flies, there were a few dead cockroaches on the floor near our table. Although dead, one of them was enormous. Call me fastidious, but cleaning the floor in a restaurant every now and then would probably be a good idea. It might even improve their Yelp ratings!
