Well, unfortunately, I only made it to the bathroom and I understand the restaurant is from 1966 and I love old things, however, this establishment was not a good fit for me. I happen to love old things; I love old Antiques, I love the old ways, I love old places , but when it comes to eating, I guess I'm a little on the picky side. Unfortunately, I didn't even make it to the booth or table because when I walked in, I walked right by a server who was sitting down at the counter which I was really excited about, I wanted to sit there because it reminded me of when my dad would take me out to the local Walgreens (or sandwich place) and we would get a little bite to eat and a sundae in a sundae glass!! Granted it is the lull of the day for a Saturday, but I was ignored and then I tried to get the attention of the guy behind the counter by walking straight past the server (whom I thought may have been off shift) but he also ignored me??? I'm not sure maybe he has a hearing impairment? I said, "excuse me " a couple of times and that's when the server Finally said she could help me. I have a sibling who is Deaf - I also know sign language so I'm not judging, I was just puzzled because I was completely ignored. It was very quiet by this time. The server who was sitting down on her phone maybe doing paperwork then turned to me to help. I asked if they were closed, thinking maybe I was too late since they were no hours posted on the door ? By this time, I had already driven over an hour or so to get here so a quick bathroom break was needed. I had seen another review that was positive online so I thought I would give it a try for a burger and some fries - pretty simple order. After going to the bathroom first and seeing the condition of the bathroom, I just decided it was not for me. I think I'm overly picky when it comes to restaurants, so I'm sure it's just me. For the first time, I decided not to take a chance and I'm seeking elsewhere to find a burger locally! I will say there were plenty of people that were here when I arrived, and they seemed happy, I just think I'm going to pass on this experience.

I ordered a burger on August 3rd 2026 dinner time and the first thing I noticed was the soaking wet bottom bun, I initially thought it might have been wet because the side pickle on my plate. Oh boy was I wrong. After the first few bites my tung contacted the bottom bun I was met with a spoiled rotten taste and as you can see, there is a wet gray sludge mark on the bottom that looks like it's been soaking for hours. If that wasn't bad enough, the paddy was completely burnt. If you care about your loved ones, please don't eat here

The pizzas were yummy, but you know me ... I am an extra sauce kind of gal so next time I'll ask for extra sauce . I wanted to get the wings extra crispy, but they said they didn't have time to do that. They were actually quite busy and we did go at the peak time of dinner so I understand. I did, however, get my extra sauce so that made me happy although I only ate two wings. What I love most is that they have a couple of video games that you can play in a small designated area! Jen & I love our Mexican Food and this area has several restaurants to choose from, it's been several years since being to this one so being Jen's first trip here I thought we'd stop in, it was around 3:30 - 4:00pm a little early for dinner but had a game to go to, we were greeted by a fridenly staff member and seated promptly as the rush hasn't been in yet, Jen order the Pizza Taco ( different ) and I had the 3 street tacos, the tacos weren't bad but not the best meat was a bit dry and lacked flavor, refried beans were ok and the Spanish rice so so ok it lacked flavor and didn't seem that fresh, Jen's Pizza Taco looked amazing but not the best in taste, again lacked flavor. I don't think I'll be back in a while but hope the restaurant can make some changes to keep people coming through their doors for some good Mexican Food. FYI the murials on the walls inside are pretty cool to see.

The kids' grilled cheese bread was perfectly done but paying $10 for what was a Kraft American cheese single was a little funny. At that price point, I'd really love to see actual cheese used. Our burger was good, but the fries were a disappointment. We ordered the shoestring fries, and there just weren't very many for any of the dishes. Honestly, you get more fries at In-N-Out. The garlic mashed potatoes were also not a favorite. They had way too much fennel and pepper, which completely overpowered the potatoes. The consistency was good but almost unedible. Overall, I'm glad we gave the restaurant another chance, and there were definitely some positives, especially our friendly server and the burger. Again, can't go wrong with a carne asada or carnitas torta. The bread is lightly toasted making the sandwich a great combination of textures and flavors. Keep in mind, they are CASH ONLY. The chicken katsu was crispy and was served with rice and macaroni salad. The smoothie was filling and delicious. My colleague enjoyed his fish and chips ($8.99) and sweet tea ($1.85). They have a drive-through and are quite popular among the younger high school and college crowd. Parking was adequate. Total bill was about $30 before tax and the 3% credit card processing fee. For the price you pay, I would say it's definitely worth it; the amount of food itself is more than enough for one meal (could even stretch it to 2 meals for those with smaller appetites).
