They now have "kiosk" ordering. There were roughly 4 employees working. When my food was ready (I was the only one in the dining room) they brought it to the counter and announced it. I bought a combo, but there was no cup. There was no napkin. When I went to get a napkin, they had it on the counter facing away from the customer. God forbid the customer takes too many napkins. They were very intent on ignoring me, trying to get a cup. I think there was something wrong with their fountain. I asked if my meal came with a drink. Gal said "yes, what would you like?" Convenient location next to the expressway. Quite expensive especially for the quality on the burgers and chicken. They offer two tacos for $1.75 and they are deep fried, I believe. Not great. I had gone here about a year ago and it was horrible. My nephew said give it another try; everyone was sorry I did. The chicken rice bowl was about half the size it used to be and it did not have the vegetables it used to have and there was about 3 little pieces of chicken and there was no teriyaki sauce on it at all. The hamburger that I ordered without the mustard or mayo came wrong without cheese also. I ordered large drinks and only 1 was large and the other 2 were medium. There drink carrier was put together so poorly that it kept falling and I tried keeping it together while driving but one fell through when I tried to pick it up. If what I saw at the drive-thru is any indication of what is going on inside, then the filthy conditions just make me shudder. 8:30 P.M. on a Tuesday night, it wasn't very busy, and the employees inside were dilly-dallying around looking thoroughly disinterested. It took quite a long time to get my bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. Which tasted great. It was delightful to get a breakfast sandwich at 8:30 at night. At Jack in the Box breakfast is served all day. Since it took so long I had the opportunity to gaze inside the window of the drive-thru. This location also has windows into the kitchen area, albeit some of them are frosted and obscure the view. For starters, the metal ledge outside of the drive-thru was filthy dirty. Countless spilled beverages, including a white perhaps milk or milkshake substance, were all over the exterior of this metal ledge. I can't even explain the horror of the wall. Ugh. Nasty. Inside, on the counter surrounding the drive-thru cash register, were crumbs and crumpled up receipts and papers. There were bins stacked up with supplies abound. A drink machine was broken down (being cleaned?) with utensils strewn about. The employees look bored. I guess they could have wiped down some counters or some metal ledges or some walls to keep them busy? Customers aren't really aware of what goes on behind the counters and in the back. The glimpses I saw on this occasion were sort of terrifying. Years ago I worked in the fast food realm and it was never like that, especially if it were slow because my past managers were sticklers about the cleanliness. I have done my fair share of baseboard cleaning. There are several other fast food options in the area. Go to them instead. You'll probably be glad you did. read more

Was in the drive thru waiting to order. Some guy was stumbling around, begging for money from the cars in the drive thru lane. When I got to the window the employees looked bad. Unkempt, dirty looking, as if they had wandered in from digging ditches. I told the scruffy guy at the window there was a man stumbling around asking for money from the cars in the drive thru lane. I was at jack in the box just this last Tuesday and tried to order 18 tacos and the guy immediately says the tacos are frozen we can't cook any. This is not the first time this has happened it has happened to me like three other times. There was also one time when I tried to order tacos at night with breakfast and the girl said we don't have any tacos they are frozen and so is all the breakfast. I told her it says breakfast all day long and how are the tacos frozen. It's called they don't want to work it must be extra work to make tacos and to do breakfast. But if they keep this up they are not going to have any customers that is bad customer service. I go during the day and have no issues it's all the night crew that don't care about their jobs. Wanted to get a quick bite to eat so we stopped at this Jack in the Box. Never will again!!! The workers (who were actually NOT working) were standing around talking. It took the cook to tell the cashier she had customers. After ordering we went to sit down and that is when we noticed how dirty the place was. There was just one family in eating and every table had crumbs and/or drink rings. I cleaned our own table...the food actually tasted good and cooked just to order. As we were eating the other family left. The girl went to "clean" the table by picking up the packets of ketchup they left on the table. No wiping down the table at all. My guess is that they never clean the tables until they lock the doors so they only have to clean once. The health department needs to come check this place out!! The owner is sure wasting their money on these employees. read more
