Went thru the drive thru, order 7 orders of "two tacos" a very common menu item that's been around for yearsssssss. When she told me the total of like $7, I said, 7 orders of the "two tacos" She corrected the order and we drove up. We paid, received our charge and just waited for the food to come out. A couple minutes later- because you know Jack can take a hot minute to cook up the food which is not a problem- she returns to the window and says, "we only made 12 tacos. Is that okay?" I was caught off guard and paused for a minute..it was literally the only thing we ordered... I said. "Okay, can you just throw in something else then?" She said, "well I only charged you for 12. " Sooooo- you got the order wrong and want to know if that's ok? And you don't want to offer to fix it? you want us to take the wrong order and just drive away You asked, then I suggested something and you said no. Ridiculous . We ended up just saying, sure no problem. But we had to come back thru for another order 30 minutes later.... This is a good location. Easy to get to with ample parking. They did have a section closed (indoor outdoor area) no reason as to why. Food is good. I highly would not recommend this location. My husband has went here three different times and all times his order was incorrect and yes, we do understand that things happen and mistakes are made but three different times is completely a pattern. I've had to tell my husband not to return first time, food was missing from our order and extra tease charged was not provided second time the same thing and the third time over overcharged for things we did not order and to top it off. Receipt was not provided on the last third time I have witnessed inappropriate behavior at this location, gossiping while working not paying attention to orders and rushing people out the drive-through I was a regional manager for over 10 years so I know what is to be expected hopefully in the near future things change at this location, but we will absolutely not be returning read more

According to all available sources this "restaurant" opens at 6 AM at 6:05 AM a worker casually strolled across the parking lot and went inside. Didn't even turn on the lights or anything so I knew it was gonna be a long time before I was gonna get my food. I went to McDonald's instead. Sorry I left my food after ordering, but when I see shady people walking up to the drive thru window (as a pedestrian) and ordering, while buddy is doing god knows what in his truck... makes me a bit nervous. To top it all off, guy in the truck blocks the drive thru lane with his truck pointing straight at me. So yeah... I popped the curb and took off. I've been here 5 times in the past month (we just moved and I've been busy lol) and they ALWAYS get the order wrong. If you want 4 tacos, they give you two. If you want no cheese, there's only cheese and nothing else. On the off chance they manage to get the order correct, they forget your napkins and ketchup and don't bother asking if you want any sauce. Nobody answers the phone if you call and corporate never writes back. The best things about this place are it's relatively cheap, the workers are kind, and if you're flexible about the order having a missing item or two, at least you didn't have to cook dinner again tonight. The drive thru is pretty slow most days but the food does come out hot. I'll add more stars if they can get my orders correct. read more

I had a hankering for a milkshake and remembered that I just received a bunch of coupons in the mail for Jack in the Box the other day. I asked my Pops what he wanted and off I went. Just as I was pulling in to the drive-thru, a car had finished ordering and was pulling ahead to pay. I was asked to wait a minute before she could take my order-she was pleasant about it. There was already a truck at the window. Sure, no problem, it's Friday night, people are out, I was in no rush and I brought my patience with me. When it was my turn to order, I told her I had a coupon for a regular milkshake for $3, but I needed to order two milkshakes. Her tone of voice changed and she snapped again "do you have TWO coupons"?! I replied no, but that's okay as long as it worked for one that would be fine. I ordered one strawberry, and one Oreo. She said I could pull up, but didn't offer the total cost for my order - my mistake for not asking right then. When I pulled around the corner in the drive-thru, I could see the truck was still at the window. It was at least another full minute before they received their bag of food, and left. Next up, the car that had just ordered as I pulled in to the drive-thru window. He was at the window for about 20-30 seconds before I heard him raise his voice and then her say something back. Before I could get my window down to hear what was going on, he pulled away. He was angry and left without exchanging any money or food. I pulled up, I handed her my card, and while I'm still holding the coupon sheet, a second gal said something to the first gal in Spanish, but ended with the word "coupon". The first gal runs my card while the second gal is explaining this, hands me the card back with my receipt, and pretty much runs away from the window. When I reviewed my receipt, she had charged me full price for both shakes! When I asked why she didn't include the coupon, she rudely replied "you didn't hand it to me with your card!" I explained I was still tearing it from the sheet (even as we were speaking the transaction happened so fast), but the second gal even reminded you about the coupon, please adjust the charges. Once again the first gal snapped at me and stated something to the effect of she 'can't change' it after it's run. I told her to cancel my whole order then. She happily obliged. She could have easily rerung the order with the coupon, but instead she let me drive off empty handed just like the car in front of me! I'm pretty sure the owner would like to know how much having her work the drive-thru window is truly costing him! I took pictures of the additional ways to contact Corporate. Quality of food, expedience of order taking and food preparation, efficiency of drive-thru exit options, that stuff is great. Tonight JITB was my plan B for dinner. My 2nd or 3rd visit to this location. And if graded on food quality and reliable service alone, it'd be 5 stars. However, JITB has made it clear that their upper echelon wants to continue to pad their pockets at the expense of the customer. And if I were rating the company, it'd be 1 star. A regular taco used to require 2 sauce packets and I sometimes wanted a little more. Tonight I couldn't use up 3 packets between two tacos. And I could visually see the size of the taco has shrunk. Yet the price went up over the past 2-3 years. And the chicken nuggets? I don't think they could make nuggets any smaller than these. I was thankful the employee tossed in one extra. This review was from a few months ago. We came through the drive thru, when we came up to the window to pay & pick up our meals. The cashier was Michael and when I paid and received my receipt I mention that the tiny tacos were incorrectly charged $3.99, as per the Menu that I ordered from and showed them a picture of their menu board for proof $3.50 Tiny Tacos price. He brought over another worker Emma who by the way has an attitude and was argumentative with me. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me they had no manager today. As for the sign she said we can't change the menu or the price already in the computer register. I told her that is false advertising. Emma continued to prepare our drinks and didn't use a scooper and just put the cup in the ice bin to scoop in some ice. We received our food after some time. The food was prepared correctly and we all enjoyed our meal. On the way home from Sac State, sometimes I'll stop at this location and get myself an order of the tiny tacos. I don't know what's in them but they are very addictive. Now when it comes to Jack in the Box, the service always sucks. However, this location consistently seems to give good service, or at the very least, passable. It's so sad to say people do not want to work and the service is absolutely unacceptable!! I went through the drive thru around 12am to realize I was waiting for about 20 mins waiting for someone to take my order! I decided to make a Mobile order to think it would be a faster process! After waiting for about 25 mins in total I drove up to the window waiting. I saw an older Hispanic lady walking back and forth looking directly in my direction with no acknowledgment nothing! I sat there for 45 mins waiting almost thinking they were closed when I saw her approach the register taking an order for the car that was about to pull up behind me. She then once again was going to ignore me and walk away. I then honked my horn to get her attention since she was just walking off not wanting to help me for whatever reason! She then opens the window with no greeting while i asked why she has been ignoring me the past 45 mins! She proceeds with how can I help you rolling her eyes at me as if I was the problem! I told her I made a mobile order and she slammed the window door on me then comes back handing my food to me while I asked who was the manger she stated "they aren't here" and slammed the window door again I honked once again and asked who the manager was she yelled at me saying they werent there! I love the food, but the service at Jack in the Box has gotten terrible. If you don't order online you miss out on the deals. We went through the drive through tonight and asked about the 2 Tacos for 99cents and were told there was no sale. We ordered other items and drove round to the window. The employee came to the window and gave us our drinks and took my credit card to pay for the order. She closed the window and walked away. She did not return my card. We waited a significant amount of time and they still did not return my card. The employee went to the cash register at the counter and took another customer's order. We tapped the car horn and waved for her to come to the car and she refused. We waited some more and she still did not come back to the drive through window. Finally I went inside the store and asked where my credit card was and her manager came out from the back and said she had just given it to my husband in the car. I told her it was not acceptable to hold on to a credit card that long and she told me she had instructed her employees to hold the card and set it on the window sill until the order was ready for the customer. All drive through stores take your card, run it and hand it right back. I have never had my credit card taken away from me and have it put somewhere I can not see. So my bf, friend and I went here for dinner tonight and ordered our food and we were all having a good time and joking around with each other. Our friend said a silly word so we all started laughing. My$50 order came out wrong. Tried to order the new ANGRY monster 2 tacos for $3 red tacos. Saw it on commercial and came straight away with my husband to fix our craving. Well, the new red angry tacos were not in the bag! So we had to pull from the drive through into the front and go in and wait for them to be made while they hand out some to the drive through customers behind us.long story short, the manager insisted that my husband made the mistake when he ordered it. The "manager" of this place is a child. Came through the drive thru one day and was waiting for at least 30 minutes just to get to the window and they don't have my order correctly at all. It's like they didn't even have it to begin with.
