People want your food but we don't want to wait an hour for it. I'm in thirty minutes because my daughter had a call in so after driving around, she walked in and I waited another 10 minutes... My daughter came out saying it was so sad, only 3 girls, everyone being rude (customers), no one helping her either, finally the cook came out to help her... Do not go here. Literally avoid it at all cost. They were so mean to me. I had to wait at the drive thru for awhile I wasn't sure what was happening because nobody said hello or greeted me. So I pulled forward and waited at the window as I watched 3 workers walk past me multiple times. The one girl who helped me was so rude to me and kept rolling her eyes. I think she caught on that I was getting hurt bc she started being a little less of a pain. They still forgot my sauces. GREAT churros. DELICIOUS spicy chicken sandwich and curly fries. Sweet service, the special needs worker was so wonderful and thorough. She brought our food to the table- which wasn't a thing at Jack in the box, she also took her time to make sure that the order was right. Fabulous that they hire capable people that may just take a bit more time. I applaud Jack in the Box for this! I ordered delivery and the driver didn't ring the doorbell or knock. They left my food out on my porch in the rain and By the time I realized it was there it was soggy and cold. On top of all that they got the order wrong and didn't include any of the sauces I ordered. I called the store to tell them about it and the employee I spoke to said "wuddya want me to do about it?". If I could give minus star I would. This has got to be THE worst store on the face of the planet. They consistently make up their own hours. If it says they close at 11pm, they are done by 9pm. If it says 9pm, there's no one to be found at 8pm. No matter what time of the day we've gone, they're closed , not accepting orders (for an array of excuses-we've heard it all). If you're lucky enough to have them actually be open, the staff is rude, they don't ever listen to what you actually order, they make up orders and add it to your bill. You get attitude for asking for basic sauce packets. Ever want a the drink you ordered ? A straw with your drink? Forget about ever getting either one. The handle of times I've ordered peach tea and either receive a soda or unsweetened tea , is more than I can count- we taste test before we leave. Let me be clear. This is not something I felt compelled to review. I have been going to jack in the box for quite some time. Their ranch has a special hold over me, but there was nothing quite special enough to have graced my mind enough to spark the idea to leave a review. That was... until I met Josh. For those of you that don't know, Josh is the absolute machine keeping this location producing. Every time my barely conscious body makes its way to jack in the box at 1am, Josh is there ready. Making my order to perfection both with precision and efficiency. Josh, with his own two bare hands is providing Boise staving night owls. Josh could very well be the reason that some of my nights go from sad to excellent. I crawl here starving and tired, only to be left feeling welcome and full. This man is a machine. This location isn't exactly the closest to my house, but the food has always been good, my ranch is always perfectly cold. There may never be another Jack in the box quite like this one. I hope you too will be able to pull up to this location and have you night cravings fulfilled. Went thru the drive thru to get chicken strips for my daughter. She wanted the 5 piece which on the board is listed at $8.99. The young man taking the order had to ask me like 3 times to repeat the order . It came up as 10.49 and I pointed out that in the drive through board it's listed at 8.99. He basically said too bad, that's the price. My daughter wanted BBQ disposing sauce and a water. Waited 10 min for the 2 cars ahead of us. The young man at the window clearly HATES his job-zero smiles or energy. Got the order and drove away. My daughter decided to start eating in the car and we discovered that we got SPICY chicken strips and NO sauce, napkins etc. I will never ever go back there . Only one of our four meals was correct. The lady at the window asked if we wanted sauce, and we wanted fry sauce which we didn't get. My double burger was a single, my wife didn't get cheese on her burger, and the egg rolls didn't have any sauce. This review is based on food, not service, as I was not with my husband when he ordered from the drive thru... it's probably been about a year since I've had JITB and my hubby and I had a craving so he went to this location to bring some food home. I was very pleasantly surprised with the burger especially; it was presented nicely and was wrapped and inside a box (this particular burger used to only come wrapped). The curly fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I think the bun was different than I remembered, but it a good way; it was fresh and tasty and the cheese on this burger was perfectly melted on top. * This is probably the smallest, most plain Jack's I've been to. Attached to a Stinker fuel station, helps to draw in hungry customers who may not really care for the food as much as the convenience. They are doing interesting things to promote their combos. The server asked, "medium or large fries?" As if small is not an option. * I like some of their burgers but today I tried the chicken nuggets. Hot and crispy, manufactured to look a lot like Tyson frozen nuggets, which _might_ contain whole chicken parts... let that sink in. I do not recommend it. But the regular fries were decent. * The dip, honey mustard... which the average idiot might assume it contains dijon mustard and honey. How hard could that be? Actually it only has "honey flavor" plus at least 20 other ingredients that don't seem to be real food. Why would somebody make a dip called honey mustard with no honey in it? * That delightful all-in-one magical touch screen soda fountain. I am definitely no fan! JITB is not known for great service anyway, but this location is especially bad. Walk in with no customers at the counter and they still take 2-3 minutes to take your order. Then they get the order wrong. I've been there three times now, and each time I was made to wait and they screwed my order up. I've never been treated so rudely at a FAST FOOD restaurant. The manager Alexis at the eagle and chinden location chose to concern herself with the PERSONAL conversation I was having with the group in my car. A profanity was said, within our group, amongst ourselves, while WAITING for a worker to take our order, after being specifically told it would be a few minutes, not speaking to the workers directly AT ALL. and because of the workers eaves dropping on our personal conversation, and disagreeing with the way were talking to each other, and not to the employees directly whatsoever, we were refused service. This is jack in the box. Not some 5 star dining experience. I understand anywhere and everywhere has the right to refuse service to anyone, but it's not a drive through fast food workers place to decide we're not worthy of service because we chose to use language they didn't agree with in our PERSONAL conversation. This is a great Jack in the Box. The service is amazing and the food always tastes fresh. I usually order a Sourdough Jack and some tacos. It's nice that Jack in the Box accepts Apple Pay now. There's a target close by so its easy to stop here after you're done shopping. read more
