In an effort to redeem all my fast food points, I decided to drop by Jack. This was stop number two on my free fast food redemption tour. I typically only get fast food with the hubby. Since there's normally a 20% off coupon in app, I typically only use points when I'm getting the free item only. (Gotta maximize those redemptions.) Did a quick search for a location on the way home and found this one. If memory serves, this is connected to the gas station store, so I actually parked and went inside to pick it up. Wasn't too much of an inconvenience since there's plenty of parking. I think I might have placed the order in the parking lot, so I had to wait anyways. Stop by here this late morning. After I went to wash my hands, I came to the counter to place my order. I was the only one in line. All the workers saw me standing there and no one came to take my order. They didn't even attempt to tell anyone else I was standing there. After almost 10 mins of not getting any service. I debated on asking them if I was too dark skinned to get service, then I decided, nope I'm just not spending my money here. No good reason for them to not take my order. I should have taken a picture of the whole crew then posting this on our local news page to see if anything will change. Not worth it at this point. I went here on my lunch break and was served RAW chicken!! I'm 6 months pregnant this could have made me incredibly sick!! I had to go back and tell them and they remade them, gave me cold fries that included HAIR in it. Manager Issac is rude and clearly hates his job and takes his frustration out on customers. Because he doesn't wear a nametag, his blatant unprofessionaliam, and disgusting language with customers initially thought he was a custodian. To my surprise, he is the manager. I've had issues before, low food quality, missing items, but today was the worst. I mobile ordered several items and picked it up exactly (to the minute) on time according to the Jack in the Box app. To my disappointment the fries in my order were ice cold. When I went inside and politely asked for fresh hot fries Issac scoffed and told me it was my fault because it's a mobile ordered and the food will always be cold. I didn't try to argue how stupid his logic was I simply repeated as a customer I deserve hot food to be served to me. "Cheerful People, Good Service." I had just come from a miserable experience from the nearby Carl's Junior, and I was hopeful of a better experience. I was not disappointed. Right from the beginning, the pleasant server, Theresa, gave a cheerful welcome and took my order promptly. I was looking for a particular type of breakfast sandwich, and she helped me figure out the right option. My croissant breakfast sandwich was ready in a few minutes. The croissant sandwiches much like any other fast food restaurant, but was tasty. The meal comes with the requisite hash browns as well as a small coffee. The restaurant has set up certain tables to maintain social distancing. That all worked well. They have clear signs and cones showing you where you may sit. Jack in the Box used to have the best salads, have been eating the Southwest since 2003! This is crap! Will never go back again. First it was the spicy strips, now no corn or beans. Now we don't even get a full fake chicken breast, but we get a cup of wilted spring mix lettuce, tasteless cheese, 4 un-ripe tomatoes, and dry carrots on a Southwest salad. Crap at Jack in the Crack! Service, The worse experience on a drive trough. I was about to jump on a 8 hour drive with my entire family, so we order on the drive through a total of 5 meals. Why in the world would I need your advice on how to make an order? The cashier or manager who ever he was repeated at least 4 times. When I got to the window to pay, she gave me my order and I realized that she missed an item. The speed of service is good but they need to work on their listening skills because they're getting my order wrong often for example today I ordered my breakfast Jack combo with sausage and gave me bacon instead after I clearly said what I wanted despite the manager being at the window you would expect a better outcome. I like the way they make the tacos here in the morning because it's a good example of what the picture of product looks like. The only weird thing about this location is that they give me the impression that I'm trying to grab their hand which is very odd!? I'm just being respectful. The Night Shift is terrible I can honestly say we waited in the drive-through line for over 20 minutes this isn't the first time it's happened but you would think well maybe they were low in staff at least that's what I thought last time, so we gave it a second try and it seems worse.The employee with the headset seemed careless and was rude A total difference in service that you get during the day at this location someone should really look into what's Going on after hours. read more

This Jack In the Box is a good stopping point on the way up and down to Sacramento. It is easy to find off the freeway and it is close/connected to the gas station. I stopped in this time to order a salad. I wasn't feeling the hamburgers at the time. The salad was an ok size, about the same price with other fast food joints, and was fresh. Sometimes I run into places where you can tell the lettuce is not fresh but not this time. The cashier was nice to explain the 3 types of salads they offered. Restrooms are clean (however this past time being worked on so porta-potties outside) Service is Fast Price is good Con's: Staff is ok, Store is good, Jack in the box is mixed. 2x staff wasn't that great and slow but this past time it was 5 star.. I will start by saying after this experience, I will not leave a drive thru without a receipt. Grabbed 4 items, paid by CC, left and ate in the car. Finally looked at my phone after getting home and was over charged by $15.00. Was it intentional...idk. I called and they said come back through, we'll make it right. I only stopped here as it was one of my many "pit stop and food runs" on my way from Sacremento to San Jose. The place is attached to a larger gas station convenience store. The staff was very helpful, and as fast food goes, JitB is only ok. Nothing to write home about. Ended up with a chicken sandwich and curly fries, which were only ok. I miss Checker's fries already.
