I come to this jack... very often 1 cause I worked here at this location for a couple years when I was 19-21... I am now a Chef .. this place taught me, how to customer service. I am in awe by the Night lady with the bad wig and bad attitude.. she never let's anyone complete there order and it makes you feel rushed and not very welcome. I also want to point out here lack of detail... twice I said I had a coupon and she ignored me and charged me the for a small #6 i still have the coupon. I hope that corporate will read and adhere to this post.. she is hurting your business in my opinion. Ordered a meatlover burrito, didnt have bacon. My iced tea/lemonade was just iced tea and since i asked for no ice it wasnt cold. And my take out order took over 10 minutes to get to me, which was also noted by one of the employees. I could understand any one of these problems individually and take it as a mistake, maybe even two. But all three on one small order amounts to negligence on their part. This Jack In The Box is conveniently by my house. Chicken strips, burgers, chicken sandwiches, curly fries, I love almost everything on the menu. They are typically fast and efficient as well. I have never had a problem here. The workers are great! Especially Armon & Tatiana (I haven't seen her in a while). I usually see them there on the weekend. They are great! Always making sure my order is correct and my sauce in the bag. This location is small but the inside is clean and the drive thru is typically fast. read more

Probably one of the worst run Jack in the Box we've been to. The ice machine was not working, there was a line of people still trying to get some ice from the machine and the employees knowing this didn't even tell us or try to fix it. When we went to sit down, all the tables were dirty and had crumbs from previous customer's food. When they called for our food to be ready to pick up, we asked the manager/shift leader for ketchup and bbq sauce, the lady went to retrieve it and simply dissappeared. I guess she went to look for it or somewhere in the back or something but she could of asked me, I was looking right at it across the counter. Anyways, bad customer service but whatever. read more

I pass by this location everyday on my way to work and stopped here only because my son was hungry. Didn't like the service. Asked about a product and I got mumbling, your bothering me attitude. Then as I drive forward to pay for meal, female worker (probably manager) walks up to window and is talking to employee. Had to wait til she moved so I could drive forward and pay for meal. Then gave guy my card asked for partial payment and the rest would be on card. That took forever and then they said they couldn't do it. We're not going to talk about female worker messing with her lip and then handling someone's beverage. That was the last time I'll go there. Late night (graveyard) shift either gets the orders wrong, is out of cup holders, or doesn't provide sauces for menu items (I.e. sauce for egg rolls) or utensils. They get worse and worse by the month. Last night was no utensils and tonight my burger was cold and the cheese didn't look right but I was so hungry. It made me sick to my stomach. I love this chain restaurant but it wouldn't be the first time I boycott a particular location. Their standards here have dropped on the night shift so I'm dropping them. ***** Pit stop review (Altadena) ***** This Jack in the Box is located right off of the Arroyo exit (northbound) of the 210 freeway. This is the only fast food place that I've seen so close to the freeway from the Pasadena 134 split to the 5 freeway. If you need a break from your travels this is the place to go. There's plenty of parking spaces in the rear for large vehicles. The only thing that I DON'T like about this Jack in the Box is the tagging in the men's restroom. I will never understand why people waste their lives away scribbling on toilet seats. I've asked women whether they see the same vandalism in their restrooms and I get a general "NO". I wonder why it is that men like to mark their territory to a larger degree? Maybe it's the same natural instinct that drives dogs to pee on a fire hydrants? Anyway, this is a message to the owners... Don't be discouraged. Keep painting over the graffiti. Keep replacing the vandalized parts. Replacing the $5 toilet seat is a small price to pay in the big picture. Your facility looks great, but the lack of attention to the details is a big downer. The drive thru sucks, you look at a picture of a large old fashioned shake in a glass container $3.49_$4.29 ,and they serve you a small plastic container without whip cream and sill charge the same price ,well a very large container of strawberry syrup mix with ice cream proberly put you in a diabetic coma ? ,if you really need icecrean try food for less large container only $2.50 calorie count is on the container the choice is yours. read more

I'm not sure why this got such terrible reviews. I'm a huge JIB fan and I've been to SO many in SoCal. This is actually the nicest I've ever been to (only been through the drive-thru). The employees are the MOST friendly and helpful. The exterior of the building is clean, and new. No shady transients hanging around. Love it! I've pulled up numerous times to this jack in the box since I do Caltrans next door and Nicole is a very rude employee. I came up to the ordering speaker and I asked for a chocolate shake and as soon as I was going to say something. She said "are you done?" Worst service ever. Came in on a Saturday morning and it was mildly busy. They decide this is an appropriate time to put a trainer at the cashier. She had no idea what she was doing. Those fulfilling orders were slow, with orders taking upwards in 15 minutes to fulfill. This fast food option was a good 30 min from walking in the door to receiving my order. I can't rate less than one star unfortunately. These people never get the order right. Even the cashier will repeat your order back perfectly and still get it wrong. It will cost more when all is done. Their tea is disgusting. I believe it is over steeped. People are always stealing drinks and filling coolers with ice leaving none for guests. I have been to this location twice now. The first time was just me stopping in while I was out walking around. I got a glass of water. Over-all it was fine. The second time was last night. This was pretty bad. I was on a late night food run for me and two of my friends. They wrote on a list for me that they each wanted 10 "Big Hamburgers" and a large Sprite. They told me to get whatever I wanted for myself. So I pulled up and saw the ad for the new chicken nuggets and I wanted that. Then I saw the ad for 20 nuggets for $5!!! Now I was excited. So I pull up to the microphone and order 20 Big burgers 2 sprites. They tell me that there is no "Big Burger" only a "Big cheese Burger". (already an issue and I haven't even ordered my food yet :( ) so i quickly text my friend who confirms that they meant to put "Big Cheese Burgers" I apologize and ask for the 20 Big Cheese Burgers and 2 large Sprites. THEN she tells me that they are out of chicken nuggets! In my head - All Hell has broken loose. Now what the hell am I going to get. Jack in the Box has so much to choose from and I like so much of it but I was dead set on those nuggets. I ask about the chicken strips and luckily they have them. NOW- I am well aware that the nuggets are new and probably at a promotional price. So they are probably a lot cheaper than the strips. But I am no paying for this meal so what do I care. I then ask the lady "how many chicken strips would i need to buy to get roughly the same amount of chicken as I would get from the 20 piece nuggets?" Sounds like a simple enough question to me. Sadly the responses I received were all tainted with confusion. First she tried to explain that there were only 4 strips to a box and that she could not change that (as if to imply that I was asking her to make a special box of chicken for me). Then I repeated my question and she said that there was not a larger chicken strip box to sell. Then I tried one more time and said "I just want to get about the same quantity of chicken, so how many boxes will I need to buy?" She said I will have to buy 5 BOXES. This answer was ridiculous so I just ordered a #12 with a milk shake and got the food and left. It was on the way home that it dawned on me that her answer was based on mathematics. This did not occur to me in the drive thru as it took a while for strangeness of this answer to really sink in. Her response to my question was 5 boxes because 5 x 4 is 20. She thought I wanted to buy 20 Chicken Strips because I could not get 20 nuggets!!! REALLY!?! Sadly the story did not end there. Once I got home my friends discovered that the bags were full of hamburgers and not Big Cheeseburgers. I had to drive all the way back to give them back the 20 hamburger. They didn't even give me the cheeseburgers for free as I had hopped. Had to pay the difference and didn't even get a free dessert or an apology or anything. :( oh well. My dad loves the #30 breakfast my mom died & for 3 years I've made frequent visits there to get it I get other food for dinner as well. On 3 occasions I've gotten it & the hash brown is not in it, now I look before I leave but still it's not in the bag so I have to wait on it making my other food cold. Before I called no answer contacted corp got a response the mgr from Altadena would call me, never happened. They have a # on their bldg to call useless, so disappointed. Horrible drive thru service! The girl at the window that handed over our drinks didnt close them properly so as my bf reached for it, the lid popped off and spilled half the drink. My bf was nice enough to shake it off, he and the car were soaked in soda. My bf asked if they would refill our drink and the manager that was standing her fatass right behind the girl said no we dont do refills, my bf was upset and told her Im not asking for a refill because i drank it but because the drink spilled all over as it was handed to me and her fat no neck oompa loompa looking ass gave us so much attitude and said no you can get off and fill it up inside if you want a refill.
