I had a dress dry cleaned which cost me a total of $50.06 after tax. My first time experience was the same as my second. This woman had a very mean mug on her face ... she asked me questions I didn't know the answer too as I'm not familiar with clothing products & how they're supposed to be washed and became frustrated with me. I decided that it would be best to leave the dress there as I needed it for an event the following weekend. Upon pickup I was greeted by a different woman who was much more bubbly, kind, and made me feel like a welcome customer. I paid, analyzed the dress and was super happy. I decided to leave the bad taste of the woman behind as I understand people have their days.. I went in again as I needed two shirts dry cleaned.. I was again greeted by the woman with the mug on her face, I kindly asked how much it would cost me to have the shirts dry cleaned and she told me $28 a piece, I was fine with that but she was demanding that I now pay upfront... (I was in a different car so I didn't have my wallet - fully aware that's my fault.) I began to mention how I had just recently gotten dress dry cleaned and that I could pay upon pickup and she because super aggressive stating that if "I can't afford to pay now there will be no service." I kindly grabbed my shirts and left. I had no problem running home grabbing my wallet and returning but after being spoken too like that I decided I didn't wanna spend my money here again. She tells me that they were dry cleaned and I say, "But I asked for these to be laundered." "We go by fabric," she tells me. I walk out and then back in. "If you have some rule, you've got to tell me. You can't just switch the order." Which, btw, doubles the price. "You can call the owner." I do. It's a man named Karl. Okay, I'm a little preachy. "I've been using dry cleaners for decades, my whole life. My job required five laundered shirts plus dry cleaning every week for many years. I've used full price cleaners and discount. I've lived in different states. No one has ever changed the order, upped the price and not even bothered to tell me both before and after." "Well, I don't know about your twenty decades.' He meant years for multiple decades. "But we go by the care label. We've had people say it's okay, and the shirt is ruined. How much money are we talking about?" Karl says. I say, "My cost is nothing, maybe $8-10 dollars." I'm not calling about that. It's the way they're running their business that I want to bring to his attention. He calls the store while I'm there. The woman admits to not telling me that they would switch the order or that they did switch the order. He refunds the cost and tells me to find another cleaners. Plus, he says that he doesn't like my tone. Then I send him photos of the care label. . He makes no comment. His store is dry cleaning in bumping up laundry to dry cleaning. It's not just me. This is their rule. I've washed those shirts a dozen times at different places. No one questions the order, and there has never been a problem.

I brought a dress to AB Tailors for alterations to address fit issues in the torso and gaping in…read morethe bust. During my in-person fitting, I was advised that shortening the straps and adjusting the torso would resolve the issue without needing to take in the bust separately. When I picked the dress up, I raised concerns that the fit issue had not been corrected. Adjustments were made at pickup, and I paid in good faith that the garment would function as altered when worn. Unfortunately, the alterations did not hold under normal wear. An additional fix made to the back to allow the dress to be tightened ripped within approximately one hour of wear, and the garment had the same fit issues it did prior to being altered. I contacted the shop multiple times to request a refund, as the requested alterations were not successfully completed and the work did not perform as intended. I was declined a refund and offered only to bring the dress back for readjustment after the event for which it was intended had already taken place. This was a very frustrating situation, and I could not in good faith recommend this company.
