The staff's attitude toward us felt dismissive and noticeably different from how they interacted with other customers. As people of a different skin color, it left us feeling like we were being treated unfairly because of our race. Whether that was the intent or not, that's how the experience came across, and it made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. On top of that, the service itself was poor. The made to order breakfast is fantastic. This last visit I had carmalized french toast with perfect bacon and a sweet fruit cup. It was wonderfully delish! Day before perfect executed poached eggs on homemade wheat beer bread toast. The combination was so so good. We will return again and maybe try one of the other quaint cozy rooms.
