If you are ever are in Darlinghurst, this little gem is a must try. The entres were divine. I've never had a 'tirapoda' .. apparently a Peruvian version of cured fish.. yum! The beef tartare was served with an interesting twist.. tartare on a cheese toastie Hiw novel! Mains we had were braised beef cheeks and Mac and cheese as a comfort food side dish. Just wonderful.. soothing & soulful. Just what I needed on a cold winters night. Dessert was a choc mousse. And no bake cheesecake. Surprisingly yummy.. uncomplicated sugary goodness. While lacking in refinement.. this place made up for I deliciousness. Not fine dining, but they do give really good food at an affordable price. Service was excellent and decor was basic, yet pleasing and adequate. Located in a gentrified precinct, it had that 'vibe' suitably made for socialising with friends and general 'get-togethers'. I will definitely be going here again just to sample other things on offer. Recommended! read more
