Breakfast Sandwiches! Been here for good pizza but just found out they're open for breakfast. We ordered an egg/bacon croissant and egg/sausage e.muffin. They also have a lot of breakfast burritos. Made on the spot, both of ours were delicious! Opens 7 am(M-F) in Elk Rapids...it's the only breakfast in town at 7am during the week...except for the bakery. Our complements to the chef! We came in and planned to dine in, which surprised the staff greatly. The inside is not very polished, though they do have plenty of tables to eat at and cute Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles posters on the walls. I loved the local soda options in their machine, and our breadsticks and pizza were great. They also accommodated my mother's dietary restriction without any issue. Absolutely incredible pizza. I look forward to it every time we come up. Delicious/unique flavors and super fresh ingredients. Most recently had meat lovers and white veggie. The white veggie was way more veg heavy than I was expecting but it was delicious! Slightly sweet with balsamic and roasted garlic but tangy feta and artichoke! Pizza is good, but they stopped serving ice cream for some reason. Maybe they can't get help like many other service oriented businesses?

New ownership this year. Pizza, subs and ice cream. They've got the presidential ice cream, Moomers. First, its run by young teenagers. Lots of guys, and a few girls. The teenagers feast and gawk on the girls and don't really work. No supervision. Not the end of the world, but why pay 10 kids to do nothing? We ordered three ice creams and each one was assembled by someone different. Ice cream is hard to mess up. It was solid. Again, Moomers. Pizza is good overall. It's what I would call "bar pizza." If you are a pizza snob this wont do it. Hit other place is down which does smaller pizza's that cost more. Would I go back? Yes, it meets the criteria for this part of Michigan. read more

Jac's opened a couple months ago. It has exceeded our expectations with delicious pizza, subs, and salads!! We go at least once a week, if not twice. Only one time out of probably 15 were we a little disappointed with a lack of toppings on our pizza, where every other time the pizza was loaded with toppings. There are times they have run out of food/ingredients due to summer and high demand, so call ahead during peak times. We do miss some of the fried foods (fries, mozz sticks, and tendies) that the previous owners had, but understand because it cuts down on costs with no fryer. Ok spot for ice cream and pizza. They have a decent menu of food and treats. The staff seem to vary in helpfulness as some experiences have been better than others. I was told one day by staff that they accepted Apple Pay but I went back the next day and nobody had any idea how it worked (so don't plan on using Apple Pay). There ice cream selection is basic, with a good selection of scoop ice cream, flurries and other treats. They have some good salads and sandwiches too. The building is nice and usually clean. After a long day of swimming at Torch Lake, we stopped here for pizza on our way back to GR. This pizza is phenomenal. The crust is . Great sauce and toppings. Service was great. We now will go here every time we head up north. read more

We visited several times while staying in Elk Rapids. Ate dinner and had ice cream. Pretty decent. Moomers ice cream, that they sold, is the best. Can't beat the banana bread ice cream . Second time we had ice cream, there was a whole different staff. The size of the cones were sub-par . A medium was smaller then the size of the doggie size. True story. Ordered a large deluxe pizza, a large meat pizza, a large spicy chicken bbq pizza, and a large antepasto salad. All were fabulous! The bbq chicken pizza was by far the best I've ever had. Not only all that, when I went in to pick it up, there were several customers before me with very large orders, and my order came in on time. That means a lot for me.
