Jabbers is a clean--almost sterile--attempt at making a sports bar. They have banners and sports stuff hanging from the walls--as well as several flat-screen TVs--but you get the feeling of being in a sports-themed Perkins. Don't get me wrong: the food is good and the service is fast, and to be fair, we didn't visit during a major sporting event. Although, being a Cowboys' fan, I didn't appreciate all the Steelers banners (just kidding). The Cuban Sandwich (not on the menu) is excellent and for *6.95, it will satisfy your hunger. They also have Wings (10 wings for $7.15, 15 for $9.25, and so on). The Wings are spicy and meaty. Overall, the menu offers a lot of choices--certain to address any craving. NOTE: Jabbers is located near the Kennedy Space Center and several aerospace companies, so they can get busy at lunch, so you want to get there by 11:30 am. I would love to visit during a sports event because I'll bet this place is lively! Their other reviews on Yahoo are very positive and I agree: It's worth a visit!

I asked for a sample of the spaghetti sauce because I'm kind of picky about that and she gladly brought me a small bowl of it to taste as soon as I tried it, I knew that's what I wanted. It came with three large meatballs that were homemade, side salad & garlic toast. I finished the meatballs, a few bites of pasta, one slice of garlic bread & the salad. My brother in law and I split a piece of cake because we both really wanted it but were full. That was the best slice of German chocolate cake I've ever had. We had a nice conversation with some other patrons and look forward to breakfast before we leave tomorrow.

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

I signaled the bartender to let her know there was no fish, only batter, when suddenly approached by someone from the kitchen. I told him there were two small pieces of fish amongst this pile of batter and I was not satisfied with the meal. He has said, making excuses that he had cooked it himself and that it was fine. He took my plate of batter and walked off with an attitude. Recommend the fish and chips. The cook was rude and disrespectful. Definitely not at all what expected. I will never be back. Came for Easter dinner, left Hungary and Angry.

The food - everyone seemed to like what they got, myself included. I got a NY Strip and I ate the whole thing. I also got a loaded baked potato and it was what you'd expect (pretty hard to mess those up tbh). The only thing I heard voiced disappointment for was the Onion Rings appetizer - several rings were left uneaten at a table of 20-somethings. The drinks - meh. Not a fan of the featured cocktails. Watered down and devoid of even a hint of alcohol taste to the ones we had. The service - our waitress seemed overwhelmed and when we looked around, there weren't many others in sight. It just felt understaffed. Visual appeal - decent, but definitely not polished. Where we were sitting you could see giant rippling in the wood veneer paneling they installed over the old Applebee's walls. Overall? Meh. Might come back, might not. Would come back if someone wanted to meet up there, but there are a lot of local steakhouses within 5 mins of this place....

We bought the old Norman's Raw Bar right at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic!! It has been a challenge, but after a full renovation, we're proud to present you Tin Whiskey Southern Kitchen & Still". Murdock's was a solid place for good food and good weekend live entertainment. Their new place here, "Tin Whiskey Southern Kitchen & Grill" is now in a more visible location with more space, especially outside where a huge wraparound covered patio includes both table seating as well as bar seating. I ordered their Traditional Philly Cheesesteak ($13.99), which consisted of shaved ribeye, peppers, onions, mushrooms & provolone. (Swap the shaved ribeye for your choice of catfish, cod or chicken). A side was included so I chose the sweet potato fries - which were actually more correctly sweet "tater tots". I ordered a Red Lager IPA for my drink ($6.00). My sandwich came out steaming hot, and was very good. The sweet potatoes were tasty, and the red lager was cold and refreshing. Jason was an excellent employee checking in on us throughout our lunch. I'm going with a strong 4 stars and am looking forward to returning on a Tuesday to try their tacos and take advantage of their Taco Tuesday special. Stop by and check them out.

My lady got the spinach goat cheese and walnut salad with shrimp and she loved every bite of it.
