Chicken tenders

Food was delicious! We got the chicken tenders and the pork chop entrees. Tez, our waitress was awesome. The service was great and the food came out quick! Loved it! Meals are under $15. Sandwiches even less.

Food was all good. I have comment that the drinks are expensive. Milk and coffees were about $4 each. Also my breakfast was $1 more than posted in the menu. But the speed of the food and the waiting staff helped raise their score to 4.

Just like pizza and bagels, being from Jersey allows me to judge a diner. The food at this diner was unfortunately glistening with grease and had no flavor. My country fried steak had such a thick coating that it was all you could taste. The Gouda grits were nauseating. The service was great though and the inside is cute! I can see why people may like it for a quick stop on the road though. TikTok Reviewer: acaicaitlin

Came in for breakfast after a good workout. Packed enough. Seated immediately. Got our orange juice and coffee within maybe first 5 mins of sitting down. Which was nice. I ordered the country sampler with ham and home fries (roasted red potatoes and there was pieces of crispy skin which was a nice), it comes with sausage gravy which I had on the side. Everything was good. Except for the sausage gravy. I can do without next time. The Mister got corn beef hash with his eggs sunny side up and white toast. He finished all of it. Said it was good. Can't really go wrong with corn beef hash he said. The toast wasn't toasty. Seemed like they made a bunch and just had it sitting there. Overall, food and service was good for the most part. Our waitress came by and checked up on us as often as she could. But towards the end, she was running around a bit much and didn't bring us our check in a timely manner. We had to ask for it twice and she didn't come back to get it either. We walked up and paid for it. Overall, would come back. They're open from 7am-2pm. Parking is plenty. But be careful when parking close to other cars or big big trucks. Saw a few close calls in the parking lot.

Love coming here for breakfast. The portions are huge and I usually need a nap after, haha. I appreciate being able to order a sweet AND savory combo! The customer service is always great as well.

Food is amazing!! The food has always been top notch, fresh and truly country tasting. The staff is great also, very friendly and on top of everything. If you have never been here before, you don't know what you're missing. Thank you to all the staff for a great job preparing and serving!!!

If I could give ten starts I would!!! Food was perfect, great taste, great presentation, and great flavors as well !!! My service dog (medical alert) and I had no issues at all. Staff are friendly, helpful, and polite. I asked another server to change an item on my order and she let my server know ( shows amazing teamwork among staff members). I'd definitely recommend and I would definitely come again :) Also very clean, open layout ( not to close together), clean bathrooms, soothing atmosphere. :)

Chef salad and across from me got a melt. Both were delicious!

Had brunch here again. Jan was our waitress wearing a festive hat. Ate brunch here with my neighbor the other day and had Kealy as our waitress. I was super impressed she had to write down nothing and made no mistakes I know that I definitely would! Super service. 27Feb2024

Very nice tasting broccoli and cheese soup and a biscuit, both of these came with your entree as well as two sides

I wish I would have discovered this place years ago and I would have been a regular sooner! We have been at this location twice in the last 2 months. One for breakfast and once for dinner. Both times the service was very friendly and pretty fast. I forget what I ordered for breakfast, but I remember my wife liking the grits and everything being extremely good value for the price. Dinner tonight was also good. Dinner entrees ran $10 - $15 and include soup, biscuit or cornbread, and two sides. Our group enjoyed the liver and onions, blackened redfish, collards, green beans, and deviled eggs. This was the 1st place I've ever seen with a deviled egg as a side. OK, it was only 2 halves, but it was a nice option beyond fries, rice, etc. The kids menu had breakfast/lunch/dinner options at all.times, so the kids can have their favorite brinner of pancakes and bacon if you let them. They also have a 15% military discount on top.of their great prices. Okay, this review is missing exclamation point and bad jokes, but in all seriousness this is a Friendly local restaurant with well made comfort food ranging from Light and Healthy to deep fried and covered in gravy!

Food is really bland, not a lot of flavor. Their prices went up as well since the remodel and Covid. It is an ok place...

The Space Bar was a surprisingly memorable find inside our hotel. I ordered the KBBQ Beef Bowl,…read moremade with brown rice, Korean braised beef, sambal, pickled cucumber, carrots, and black sesame seeds. Each bite delivered a burst of savory and tangy flavors that kept me going back for more. It was filling without feeling heavy, and the brown rice and fresh vegetables made it feel like a satisfying, healthier meal. Dessert was the real showstopper. We tried the zesty key lime pie with raspberry coulis, whipped cream, and fresh berries, along with the vanilla bean creme brulee made with Madagascar vanilla and topped with whipped cream and berries. The pie was bright and refreshing, while the creme brulée was rich, silky, and perfectly caramelized. Even though everything came in takeout boxes, both desserts were presented with an elegant attention to detail that made them feel extra special.

Kind of glad it turned out that way, though, because Plan B landed us on the moon, aka The Space Bar. The view from the rooftop is stunning! Really the best part of the experience. Menu prices are reasonable. The signature cocktails are fun and certainly worth trying. Food is average. Interactions with our server were awkward at times, but mostly attentive. Getting water we asked for was a challenge, though. I would definitely return. It's a cool hangout spot.

I've lived in Port St. John for years, many years, and had never visited this place until today…read more Boy, have I been missing out... For our anniversary today, my wife and I were going to go to a different breakfast joint, but upon entering the plaza where I first choice was located we saw the sign for Daddy-O's and realized we had never visited the place. So, right there and right then we agreed to give it a shot. We were both glad we did. When we got there the place was empty - we were their first patrons, at the very least, at that particular time in the morning. After being warmly greeted we were told we could sit anywhere, so we did. The menu is straightforward, unassuming, and uncluttered. Breakfast items we all know and love and some other surprises I've never heard of. No matter, my wife had their two-egg build-your-own style, while I had their Tornado Burrito - we each added a pancake for good measure (and with blueberries). The breakfast items are made to order - nice touch - and we were served with about the amount of wait you would expect. Both items arrived at the table hot, fresh, and delicious. We downed our entire breakfast and enjoyed every bite. Service was super friendly, the waitress had a nice dry-wit about her that made talking to her fun. Since the place was small and homey, we ended up sparking up some conversation with the other patrons that arrived after us. Prices were incredibly low - I was surprised how little I paid for the amount of food offered. I would gladly pay more. Anyway, the place had a USA and military themed decor about it. A perfect place to bring our youngest sons who are currently serving when they visit later this year. Anyone in town who will listen to me I will tell them this is their breakfast stop in town - hands down...

If you like key lime pie, stop what you're doing and order the Key Lime Pie Ale. It is hands down…read morethe best one I've ever had. The Cool Whip rim sounds a little over-the-top until you try it... then you realize it's actually genius. It's one of those drinks you keep thinking about long after you leave. We've been here several times now, and it's been consistently great every visit. The food deserves some love too. The Caesar salad is surprisingly one of my favorites (who gets excited about a Caesar salad?) and the sweet potato fries are dangerously good. We also tried trivia one night. Either their trivia host has a PhD in random facts, or my husband and I need to spend less time watching reality TV. We had fun anyway, even if we contributed approximately three correct answers to our team's score. Great beer, great food, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely one of our favorite local spots, and we'll keep coming back.

I really loved this place, but the operations are just so different and perhaps as a human I am…read moreconditioned to how it WAS. But, it is definitely set up as a restaurant now trying to operate like a BIG brewery. Menu definitely has some changes, a lot actually. Not many signature cocktails, the witches brew which was one of a very limited list at a full liquor bar was kind of odd. Not much rum, the caramel rim was nice but that's about it. The most notable change is that there are no longer "servers". You have to order everything at the bar, and I can definitely see how this may be economically appropriate for a less busy day, but given a Wednesday at 5:30, it started to get pretty busy. I waited at the counter for a bit to order something else for my son and the one person at the counter was taking another order so after some time I digressed. The soup flight was, okay, very over salted, the sour cream in one coagulated at some point. The burger tasted like a pre bought ground chuck burger, it was not good. Staff is still very friendly but seems to be currently scarce. Most big breweries that operate at a kiosk or order to sit are not situated like this, have large open spaces, not dining spaces so I really don't know the business ops of what's going on but it def didn't flow smoothly for us.
