Their hot food includes, but not limited to empanadas, pupusas, enchiladas, tacos, scrambled eggs, home fries, rice and beans. Their egg sandwiches are delicious containing great quality fresh rolls and freshly cooked bacon (it's all about the bacon!). The pupusas are delicious and aren't greasy. They are great about making sure large orders are packaged for convenient and comfortable carry. I'm not sure whether or not they raised the price of items like their cohorts have, but their prices are comparatively lower and I'd pay more to keep this business viable.

Once you open it, the scent of fresh baked bread invades your senses. It's literally an office space where the bread is kept in a case and the rest of the bakery is closed off. They aren't open 24 hours any longer usually 7-7 or 6-7 some days. Take the trip, there is no private parking only 15 min street parking in front but it's usually full as it's a busy little street. The Bindy special was created by a very hungry 16 year old who had a massive case of the munchies…read more The sandwich which was already being made but called a "chicken cutlet sandwich" at the time had the classic russian dressing but lacked the bacon. I used to add the bacon. My friends and I frequently bought sandwiches, drinks, and dutchmasters late at night. So the manager at the time was very friendly with us. There were other sandwiches like an "Ed Special" and so on.. The name Bindy derives from my last name which sounds like bindy. So when i walked in the store they used to shout bindyyyyy. One night they were redoing the signs with the names of the sandwiches and fate have you we were there. So the manager asked if i wanted to name a sandwich and we agreed on Bindy Special. I always wanted lettuce on that sandwich. It was meant to have lettuce but i forgot to tell him when he was writing the sign which was just written on a paper plate and scotch taped to the deli glass at the time. So folks as the late Paul Harvey would say....now you know the rest of the story. Enjoy the sandwhich! I am Bindy.

This review is for the LYNBROOK Jersey Mikes only:…read more Ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 bags of chips through Grubhub. Got ONE sandwich and 2 bags of chips. Seems like not an easy mistake to make when there are 2 bags of chips in there, to pack only one sandwich. Seems suspicious to me. The bag was very sealed, so the grubhub driver couldn't have taken it. The receipt on the bag showed two sandwiches, so there was no mistake ringing it up. But hey, mistakes can be made. I called up. The manager asked my name and what sandwich was missing. When I told him, he promptly said "we'll refund your money", and promptly hung up. Well, it's two weeks later and NO money refunded . So I'm going to say it's quite possible that the sandwich I didn't get was given to some employee's kid, and maybe it's an occasional policy there to grab a sandwich from food delivery. Instead of wasting time pursuing the refund, I figured I'd spend it warning y'all not to do business with this Lynbrook store, especially for delivery. Let me also say this. Oceanside Jersey Mike's is better than this Lynbrook one in ALL ways: it's bigger, cleaner, has better employees who seem to care, and better fresher food. My advice: Oceanside is worth the additional travel if you're picking up and well, as far as delivery, to turn a phrase, at Lynbrook you DON'T get what you pay for.
