I stopped by Jabal Coffee House while I was in Orlando, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered their Strawberry Cloud Matcha, and it was honestly one of the best matcha drinks I've had in a long time. The flavor was even better. The matcha itself was smooth and earthy without being bitter, and the strawberry added this bright, fruity sweetness that didn't overpower anything. It tasted fresh, not artificial, and the balance between the creamy cloud layer and the matcha underneath made every sip feel layered and intentional. Came in on a Saturday while waiting for an oil change. This place gets busy quick but there are a ton of seats and tables. This place has a modern feel to it with bright lights. And seems to attract many different crowds from families to people working and having meetings to young kids. The pastries were pretty big and the coffee was strong which I prefer. The only thing I have to complain about is the menu. They ask for you to wait to see the full menu on the tablet but that's where the line is. To me there's almost nothing better than a nice Yemeni coffee shop. Jamal is newer to the area and you can tell by the way it shies and sparkles both inside and out. It's an absolutely stunning shop, with bright natural light able to come in, gold detailing and unique lighting. There's a ton of seating but depending on time of day it can still get packed. They do have private study/ conference rooms you can rent out as well. The menu has all your standard coffee offerings plus the popular Yemeni and Middle Eastern classics- like a cardamom or pistachio latte, and of course many types of matcha. I got the Jabal latte which is cardamom and cinnamon and it gave all the warm and cozy vibes, it was delightful. Also tried one of their little desserts because it was too adorable not too. It was really yummy but altogether for a coffee & dessert it was $20- that was pretty spendy. But overall it's a most lovely shop that is easy to sit and stay for awhile. Visited for the first time meeting up with a friend. It was super busy and it was a weekday. The space inside is super cute with a nice counter and fluted wood. The desserts all look super good but they are on the pricier side. We both just got coffee for our first visit and the same Jabal latte. It has cardamom, cinnamon and some other spices. It definitely packed some caffeine bc I had this at 12 pm and I was wired all day! I really liked the flavor and I prefer the iced version of the two. read more

I've been on an Adeni tea kick lately, which can be found at Yemen Coffee shops and found Jabal, on John Young Parkway and Sand Lake Road by Epic Universe and the Convention center. The outside doesn't prepare you for how beautiful the coffee shop is inside, with the sculptural wood mountain seating and creams and gold everywhere. There is lots of seating as well as different seating sections from more casual, to tables, to a quieter room up front. There are even glass paneled rooms that are for rent if you have a meeting. I ordered an Adeni tea (like a Masala Chai tea with Cardamon and spices and milk) and then perused the pastry case. Everything looked very appetizing. I decided on a chicken empanada and one of the viral desserts that looks like what it is made of. I got the pistachio so it looked like a pistachio nut but there were also strawberries, lemons, coffee beans, and cute teddy bears that were different fruits. I got a pager and sat down to wait. It was pretty busy so it took a bit for my food to be ready. When I got it, my tea was piping hot. It was so delicious, lightly spicy with creamy and sweet. The chicken empanada was also very good, not dry and a good flavor. The pistachio cake was fine, with a small amount of pistachio flavor but mostly just sweet. At $12 I'm not sure I would get it again but it was fun to look at. All in all, a great brunch and I will come back. read more

I didn't get a chance to stop in but I needed an afternoon pick me up and was craving coffee! Jabal had been popping up all over my feed on Instagram and I can totally see why after tasting their coffee! After looking over their menu I decided to play it safe and get their standard Jabal latte with oat milk. It comes with cane sugar in it for sweetener and Jabal spices on top which add to the aromatics and flavor profile of the drink! To me it tasted like thyme a little, although I'm not 100% sure what the spices consist of...definitely ask the team there in case you have sensitivities! My order was ready to go super quick, so late afternoons are the move if you've gone by before and they've been slammed! Yemeni coffee has become such a staple and a vibe everywhere now, and I have to say I've now been sucked in. This is one of the best coffees I've had! read more

This newer coffee shop opened at the end of January 2026. Decided to stop by and love that Yemen Coffee shops often have later hours. There's several areas of spaces where you can choose to sit including private rooms you can rent, It was a busy night so it was quite loud. The female who took my order was nice. I ordered a hot creme brûlée latte and hot tiramisu latte. Once the orders were ready, they were both made as cold drinks, They said that's what i ordered in which I said it was not because we were in fact feeling cold. I felt like they wanted to insist us getting them and I said no so they they remade our drinks. The new drinks finally came and were fine. I have been to a handful of Yemen coffee shops so their flavor is not new to me. These two drinks tasted pretty similar yet the creme brûlée was a tiny bit creamier and a tiny bit sweeter, but their flavors were quite close. The seats we had were not comfortable, yet they have different seating areas. Perhaps the couch area, or the area in the front side room may have been more comfortable with the half booths there. I'm glad I tried them, & their website says they are getting a location in Tampa. So perhaps I'll try them again when they open there. read more

Always happy to try out a new coffee spot! This one isn't on my side of town at all but I was meeting a friend and she wanted to check it out so here we went! Firstly, the shop is beautiful! There is a lot of seating and they even have a private room where you could hold a meeting if you wanted to. I love how much natural light gets into the space. They have a lot of pastry, sweets and savory style options. I ordered their tiramisu latte iced. I thought i may be too sweet and it wasn't! Though I'd still ask to get it less sweet next time. All I can say is WOW. Probably the most luxurious coffee place I've ever been to. From the decor, the ambiance, I mean they must have spent a fortune setting this business up. I would say it's a masterpiece. They even have a small conference room for people to meet and talk business. Never seen anything like it. I had the creme brûlée latte and a slice of the Dubai chocolate cheesecake. The coffee was very rich, smooth and soothing and the Dubai Chocolate cheesecake simply delicious. I was influenced to try the iced lotus biscoff latte and the biscoff cheesecake. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious. Would recommend. The latte I found to be a 6.5/10. It wasn't my favorite drink and I really wanted to like it more. Service was great and the ambiance is there. They have a separate space where you could have a small group which would be nice if ever hosting people. A kind of place you'd expect in Winter Park or other affluent neighborhood. There is plenty of seating. Small tables for 2 with additional bench sofa style seating. There is also a pivate room with a television for small groups or a business meeting. Soft middle eastern classical music in the background. At the counter I was pleasantly greeted and assisted with ordering. One can order in person or via a tablet mounted at the counter. There was not a large selection of pastries. There were several cheesecakes and sweet breads and some savory baked goods but no traditional breakfast entrees. Although, not much of a selection, the coffee and pastries were delicious and decadent. I had the Signature coffee, a Jabal Latte - a latte with cardoman, cinnamon and cane sugar. Rich strong coffee with a hint of sweetness (1 sugar, not the standard 3). Also an Almond Croissant - light and flaky. Filled with flavorful almond paste and topped with slivered almonds. Very good. The look and feel of this coffee house was unlike any I had ever been inside. The gold accents and the way Arabic is incorporated into the art on the walls was gorgeous. The employees were really nice. I appreciated that they had the spice mix out for their signature latte so I could smell it ahead of time. It tastes just like it smells. I was just at jabal, came here to have a chai and work on my laptop for a bit. As soon as I walked in and found a table, the table and bench had hair all over it and the bench was dirty and stained. I walked around to find another spot and everything just looked so dirty. However, I cleaned off a table and bench area and decided to stay since I do enjoy their Adeni Chai. While ordering I noticed the sofa seating near the counter was filthy! It seems like they don't clean on a regular basis and really made me question the type of cleaning happening behind the counter. I just happen to find this coffee shop. They have great reviews so I was willing to drive the 10 minutes to check it out this morning. It did not disappoint. We also had the Bee bites. It had slightly crispy edges and a little cheese? in the middle. There was little container of honey on the side for dipping. Bee bites were YUMMY Took a Sana'ani to go. But what really impressed me was their choice of teas as well. They have an amazing Cascara tea ( which is the outer cherry shell of a coffee bean and has a ton of antioxidants). Beautiful inside, but the exterior is a dealbreaker I really wanted to love this place, and parts of it I do. Walking in, you're hit with gorgeous design: warm wood tables, tons of natural light, plants everywhere, and a really calming vibe. The menu is impressive too. Lots of single-origin pour-overs, creative seasonal lattes, and solid food options. I had a honey lavender cortado and an almond croissant, both excellent. The baristas clearly know their craft and the coffee was dialed in perfectly. But the outside... wow. It's hard to ignore. The sidewalk was littered, and the back area is stacked with a literal mountain of overflowing trash bags. It smells, and you walk past it to get to the door. It makes the whole place feel unsanitary, even though the interior is spotless. Pros: Interior: Stunning, Instagram-worthy, great for working or catching up Coffee: Top tier. Tons of options, expertly made Staff: Friendly and knowledgeable Cons: Exterior/cleanliness: Extremely dirty, trash pile-up in back is a major turnoff First impression: The mess outside completely clashes with the beautiful inside If they get the outside to match the inside, this would be a 5-star spot.
