No call back after talking to the lady who answered the phone. Called again two more times over 10 days and left messages. Still no call back. Finding a carpet repair company turned out to be hard, but most other companies were responsive and said they don't do that work--I respect them getting back to me and I will Not review them. I take exception to The Carpet Specialist who failed to respond to numerous inquiries. What does that say if you hire them and they need to come back? Will they "ghost you?"

They said they would turn my invoice into the office then they would email me and it's been over a week. I called them a few days later and the lady never picked up and now the phone call goes straight to voicemail. The address listed for this business is an apartment which I believe is illegal to run a business from a residence. I'm assuming they are dodging tax by not providing me a receipt. I really need this receipt as we sold our home and need to provide to the new buyer. I have a couple of stars because they did a pretty good job. I will report them to the BBB for not providing an invoice as well as running a business from a residence. Also I thought they charged a bit high for the amount of work that they did. I would definitely get an estimate and shop around before using them in the future, especially if you need warranty or an invoice.

He was super professional, he did a great job overall; however, we had pet stains and odor on the area rug and it still smells. I had to drag it into my garage over night to finish drying because it was still wet 4 hours after the cleaning was done. The playroom remains wet so I have fans going to try and get the carpet to dry. It still smells a little in there but I think once dry it'll be better. Overall I am happy with the way my area rug looks and the fact that the playroom is clean but the smell bothers me and also how long it is taking to dry.

I experienced several occasions where a scheduled appointment would be changed at the eleventh hour. In January, I was notified around midnight that my cleaning for the next morning would not occur. In February, I was notified once again but my scheduled appointment was honored and he actually mentioned that he thought he was fired. Something I didn't give much thought to until March when I received a message that the appointment booked about 2 weeks in advanced would need to be changed due to a scheduling conflict. The notification of course came around 10pm. Less than 12 hours before the expected appointments time. I asked why and the response was that he did not see the calendar until now. I thought about this and realized there is a lack of accountability here and a growing trend of unprofessionalism I no longer wished to condone. I hope they are able to recover from whatever is the cause of this and wish them the best of luck.

Overall, the carpet was already in great condition, but there were some areas with compacted fibers from heavy foot traffic. Our goal was to freshen everything up, ensure it was truly clean (not just look clean), and hopefully restore some of the plushness in those worn spots. My husband pointed out the areas of concern and was reassured they would improve with the cleaning. The service itself was professional and easy to schedule, but the initial results didn't quite meet our expectations. The high-traffic areas didn't lift as we had hoped. I didn't share my concerns right away, but I should have because Maxine was very responsive and committed to making things right. She offered to have the areas I was unhappy with retreated, which I really appreciated. Matthew came out for the follow-up service and was very pleasant, professional, and thorough. He took the time to address the problem areas. I'm grateful for the team's responsiveness and their willingness to stand behind their work.

My husband and I were planning on replacing our old, dingy and stained carpet with pricy hardwood flooring. After SCR's work yesterday we have put the floor replacement idea on the back burner. Our carpet looks brand new! We had some pretty dark staining from the previous homeowner and Adam and Mike were able to remove it completely! The whole process only took a couple of hours. Set-up and breakdown was relatively quick. Mike moved all the furniture out of the work area and both took care with the wall edges/corners and hoses. Adam is extremely knowledgeable about the products that he uses and both were very professional. Pride and customer satisfaction is very important to them.
