Where do I start with all the great things to say. Both the people I worked with were amazing help!…read more I had bought an AC fan motor online and now needed a fan blade. For starters the price difference from The Parts Depot IN STOCK OPTION was only $10 more. I wish I hadn't had to wait 2-3 days to get mine online and just bought there higher quality option (with warranty) in store. Regardless of the fact that I bought online, the owner didn't hesitate for one second to go above and beyond to help me out. We could not find my fan blade (very unique) so he kept the assembly and emailed his supplier, the NEXT DAY he had the parts I needed waiting for me! Idk about you, but this kind of service, pricing, and convenience if worth it's weight in GOLD! Needless to say I am a Parts Depot customer for LIFE now. Thanks!!!

Today was the second time I used this business and I was not disappointed at all. A week earlier I…read morehad stopped in and bought a new motor for a bathroom exhaust fan. The correct one was given to me, yet when I got home I realized after installed that it was not spinning the correct direction to exhaust . Before tearing into it myself and finding online that the motor only spun one direction, I took it back. After about ten minutes of troubleshooting, knowledge, know-how and all around friendly service the staff had it working the way I needed it. I say support small businesses as much as you can, especially this one!! Before you give up, throw it out and buy new, give Parts Depot a try.

We bought all of our kitchen appliances from Dick Van Dyke. All GE Plus, stove, refrigerator,…read moredishwasher, and microwave, plus washer and dryer. Our 5 year warranty expired in July, but prior to it expiring, our ice maker went out on our refrigerator. Service person looked at it and ordered a new dispenser, ice maker and thermostat. When I asked what the service charge was, he said none as it was under warranty. 3 icemakers later plus new computer board for the ice maker, they found it was the evaporator on the fridge was not working properly as the freezer was not working either. Long story short, they went close to $1400 to replace, which I found unacceptable due to the issue starting while it was under warranty when the problems started. We were then told our warranty expired in April. We were rebuilding our home after a fire and bought the appliances in February but did not have the delivered until the house was done in July, when the warranty should have started. After going back an forth with DVDyke, we called GE compliance. After going back and forth with them over 2 weeks, they agreed to replace the evaporator, compressor and dryer with Van Dyke to replace. They ended up charging us $1053 in labor which was under warranty should have been included in the repair. Checking with other appliance repair here in Bloomington after the fact, most charge between $350 and $400. The service guys were very good and professional, but i feel having to go back and forth with the dealer for over 2 months is not good service. You would think after all this they would have at least called to see if everything was working properly. Not a word. In the future we will not be purchasing anything from Dick Van Dyke.
