Mom just touched down and asked if I wanted a pedicure...Do I want my feet massaged, soaked, and scrubbed? ABSOLUTELY. I write this to you, my dear reader, with my size 12 boats soaking in this warm water after being cleaned, scrubbed, and filed. It is heavenly. My introduction to pedicures was when Chad Ochocinco was on the 2009 season of Hard Knocks and would be in the chair talkin about "Once a week. I promise you, once a week..." in the most confident, standin on business tone you've ever heard in your life. "Every Friday since 1999... I've never missed" Ocho was really up to something though ahaha pedicures are amazing. A straight luxury. This cost $86 though... which I'd imagine is pretty damn steep considering it's in Soho, but I literally don't have a clue about the pedicure pricing market. I get like 2 a year and it's always on Nanc's dime. This lady just wrapped this like gold foil around my legs after putting some kind of lotion on them lol I have no clue what's going on, but it feels amazing. More guys should get pedicures I don't get why we don't. Honestly if a guy doesn't get pedicures in 2024 he's a dork. That's a red flag ladies... I'm giving y'all free game here, you're welcome. I got my nails done on Monday it's Thursday and 4 nails are chipped....i sit in an office all day and don't want to go get my nails done after work. Walked in, asked for a French tip gel mani. I had one broken nail so it would need a tip. The older lady said $78. FOH. They just say whatever they feel like charging; which is why you won't find a menu online. The girl available didn't even know how to put a nail on, nor did she know what a French tip was! I Love Jspa and have been coming to Jay for over 5 years. I used to go to the one in tribeca and they recently reopened in soho with a more modern interior. I also love how they used himalayan salt blocks as a wall decor. Pink himalayan salt blocks are known for reducing the aging process and balancing body's pH levels. Jay has really outdone himself this time in terms of the meticulous service provided and the thought behind the relaxing interior. read more

Disappointing. I've tried going twice and wound up confused and disappointed both times. A couple of the people who work here are lovely but one is simply a childish jerk. They also throw prices around and change them despite what's on the wall or what they state prior to agreeing to a service. They had a lot of trouble taking off their own gel that they'd put on themselves, doing damage to nails along the way. The nail file/manicure job was so bad and their one person's attitude was so awful, that I have to give up and go to one of the 20+ other nail spots in the area. It's a shame. I noticed this place en route to a laser hair removal appointment and decided to call for a last minute pedicure. They take walk-ins however I like to book appointments so that I'm well received. My feet have become quite sensitive in my old age so I'm very particular about where I go. I gave this place a chance because (1) the reviews were pretty good and (2) I was leaving for vacation day after next and this would be one less thing to worry about the day before a trip. My technician (Fernanda) was so wonderful! She took meticulous care as she filed my nails and cleaned out the cuticle area. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort and my feet look (and feel) amazing. I did the regular pedicure for $42. The space is clean and the music was pleasant. I may try other services in the future. I would absolutely go back and see Fernanda again read more

Was hopeful for this spot but had a bad experience. Nail tech was so rough with my nails that she made them bleed!!! I asked her to be gentler multiple times but she continued to handle me very roughly, causing my nails to bleed (see picture for example) by aggressively picking at them with the cuticle tool and sanding with the nail file against my skin. Also, the dip powder example nail colors were inaccurate. The color I chose was a muted pink on the example nail but came out as a bright Barbie pink and weren't even close to the same shade. Maybe they gave me the gel examples by mistake? Overall, the salon felt clean and they used liners in the foot bath which was preferred. However, for dip they put my entire finger in the dip pot. At other places I've been to, they use a brush to apply the powder onto the nail which is more hygienic. I was hopeful for a pleasant experience here but I'm not sure if I would return unless I know my nails would be handled with care, to ensure they don't bleed. I've never had that happen at any other salon, and it is concerning how rough the technician was if it caused them to bleed. read more

Very very very good! Randomly came in while looking for new nail salon and I am overly pleased. My pedicure was great and I thought the massage chair was amazing until I had a chair massage from J. He went above and beyond - as someone who walked in with back issues, I had a 20 min massage and it is easily top 5 massages I've had. Extremely memorable. Everyone was also kind and the energy in the spa was overall great. I left feeling upbeat and happy. I will be traveling here on Sundays for my pedicure and massage from now on. read more

Brought my lady in to treat her for her birthday. She loved her gel manicure and pedicure. The staff were wonderful and the ambiance was soothing. I got a deep tissue massage while waiting for her. Run, don't walk. This place is everything! Had just under an hour between commitments on a Sunday and stumbled upon this place. I was so lucky they were able to squeeze me in for a quick gel mani! They were very friendly, quickly settling me in to my seat. After I told the manicurist (Maria!) the shade I wanted, she helped me pick a couple color options and we landed on one that was perfect. They are particular about hygiene (which makes a ton of sense in post-covid NYC) and take pride in their work! I was in and out within 45 min - she could tell I was in a bit of a rush but was efficient and thorough! She even made sure the top coat was (in her words) extra shiny. I'll definitely be back! i actually dont know how this place has a good review. spent 2 and a half hours on powder nails and $100 just for them all to break within 3 days. they dont clean their tools and i got an INFECTION on my pointer finger from their powder. TERRIBLE!!!! read more

This place gives you QUALITY nails! Called a few hours before coming in & they were able to fit me in at 6pm. Came in, was immediately sat down and accommodated. They really went out her way and did an amazing job making sure my nails were even and well shaped. She is really nice and really took her time to make sure the lines are crisp. I love the outcome! Even though it is on the pricey side. It is something worth splurging on for an event or self care. For the uv gel extensions, gel polish, and nail art had a total over $250 without tip.
