She gives an above average salon experience, but still takes the time to personally connect with her Clients. I initially went to her for a red balayage and she took my inspiration picture and put her own personal touch to truly give me a custom hair color. Ever since then I've gone to her for regular up keep and trims, and she always slays it. Even in between visits, my hair will fade like normal, but still looks fantastic and natural. That's how good she is! Heather also has tons of hair knowledge and experience, but also makes sure to dedicate time to educate herself further to pass down. When I first started seeing her, I would fry my hair with straighteners and not really know how to manage it. Now my hair is at it's healthiest, and regular haircuts from Heather help to keep my curls in place even though I have blonde in place. Having Heather as my Stylist is the best decision I've made for my hair.

Thing is, she flipped my hair forward and one side was nice and smooth and wavy and the other... was about 2 inches longer and not smooth or wavy and my bangs were a complete fluffy disaster. It didn't look good, let alone really good. I'm looking in the mirror, very surprised and not in a good way and she's looking at me in the mirror and I'm thinking... I can't believe she's not immediately offering to fix this. We are looking at the same thing. Wtf. Had to go home and fix it. Then she took my payment and it gave me the option of 20%, 22%, or 24% for a tip... on a service that wasn't even completed. Are you serious. I felt like when i spoke my mind about MY hair and the service i was judged and then rushed out of the salon so other clients wouldn't hear. My friend immediately said, that's who I tried to make an appt with!! And guess what, I was in desparate need of a redo of my hair color. I colored my hair for the first time ever a few months ago, and it did not go well, I was disappointed and stuck with a color I never wanted! I've been procastinating the redo because I didn't have faith in anyone getting the color I wanted originally. I took a leap of faith and asked Jenny whether she can fix my hair and if by any chance, she is availabe before my wedding date in May. She scheduled me in 3 weeks later after I asked. She took care of my hair for 3.5 hrs, cleaned up the mess (I should say blended it in), got really close to what I wanted with a foilyage. Note that what I wanted couldn't be achieved on the first or second try because my hair is really dark to begin with. I wanted to go really light ashy gray. But I do love the color she did for my hair, my hair now has personality. My friends loved it when I sent them the photos. They have been asking me when I was going to redo the previous disaster. If you are going to drop this much money on your hair, do it with someone talented who cares about the quality of her/his work.
