Multiple bad welds with different sized pieces of exhaust tubing causing multiple exhaust leaks.

I was initially very excited about my purchase but I told Ben Gill that I would hold off on leaving a review until after the inspection was done. Ben told me that the previous owner had put an aftermarket exhaust on the 2023 ZL1 Camaro but that they had the stock exhaust put back on the car. I was having the inspection yesterday and they called me to tell me that the exhaust is a patchwork of bad welds and different sized pieces with multiple exhaust leaks and of course there is no warranty coverage because the exhaust was clearly just mutilated. I contacted Ben about it because he was saying if there were any issues with the inspection to let him know and they would try to get it taken care of. I let him know and his response was that he wasn't aware of anything like that being done and he hopes that I can get it worked out, Ben's the one that told me that the previous customer had the aftermarket exhaust and that THEY, the dealership, had the stock exhaust put back on the car so of course they knew it wasn't right. If you didn't want me to know anything about the exhaust all Ben had to do is just not tell me anything at all and then he could attempt to play the dumb salesman card about the exhaust but we had a lengthy conversation about it and he specifically told me that the dealership had replaced the aftermarket exhaust with the stock exhaust so attempting to lie about it now and act like nobody at the dealership knew about it is absolutely a mute point. I don't appreciate being blatantly lied to and I absolutely don't appreciate being lied to even more after I already know you've lied to me. We both already know exactly what this situation is so just cut the bs already. This place is 100% buyer beware. The stock exhaust was completely cut up and "welded" together so badly it looks like a child did it and it's leaking in several spots. Once again Ben told me that you guys had the stock exhaust put on the car so you had to have known. Come to find out you guys put aftermarket low efficiency cats on the car too and the rear valves don't work at all so I'm going to have to replace the ENTIRE exhaust system from the headers all the way down. It cost 9k just to get the stock Y-pipe assembly with the stock catalytic converters and oxygen sensors so in order for me to be able to get the car to actually be stock, like J-Rus Inc. expressly stated it was verbally and on paper, I would have to spend about 12k and since the exhaust was so clearly tampered with GM is denying any kind of warranty coverage at all.

Buyer BEWARE! Never have I dealt with such unprofessionalism. This dealership has the WORST…read morecustomer service. They do not return texts, emails, or phone calls in a timely manner, or at all. I believe they knowingly sold me a vehicle with both an oil and coolant leak because the extended warranty, which I also purchased through them, stated it was a preexisting condition that could not have occurred within the five weeks I owned the car. The warranty company said the oil buildup had been there for an extended period of time. My bill was for $5,476.20. The extended warranty only covered $721.07. Tim Thompson, the owner of the dealership, agreed to pay me a little less than half of what I had to pay out of pocket. I signed a good will agreement on July 19, 2023 and I still have not received the payment he promised me. I have been texting, emailing, calling and leaving messages almost daily since the end of July. I received one text saying a check was mailed in a plain white envelope with my name on it. I texted back that I never received it and that they could check their bank statement to verify that it was never cashed and I would appreciate them reissuing one. It is now September 30th and after texting, emailing, calling and leaving countless messages, I still have not received a reply. I am completely disgusted with their lack of professionalism. On the CarNova website it states, "exceptional customer care," "dedicated to the needs of our customers first," "we listen to our customers," "we want to earn your trust," "our customers come first-Always." I have not seen any of this. I caution you to think twice before doing any business with Tim Thompson and the CarNova dealership in Shelby Township, Michigan.

Before we know it- he tells me that they're offering to bring it out to our house that evening (2hrs away). This sounds nice except- they wanted to charge $500 delivery.. and wanted to bring it only after dark. They brought it for free... after dark... which makes sense. They preyed on my fiance. We paid $20,000 for a vehicle that's air conditioning only blows hot air. We took it to a shop hoping the air conditioning just needed recharged (still bs) but come to find out- we were sold a LIE. This vehicle has been in more accidents than disclosed which is made evident by the smashed, leaking radiator and a/c condenser - reason for no a/c and the new hood that was put on (that doesn't match the vehicle.. they didn't even hook up the windshield wiper fluid because it doesn't match!). For the vehicle we bought for $20k just a few months ago- we will have to pay thousands to have the air working. AVOID this place at all costs!!!!
