I bought two cars from this place and both cars are total lemons. Both cars are rotted out. When my son went to get an oil change they ate the ones that pointed it out. The whole car was all rust underneath. My daughter's car the same. All rotted out they hide it very well. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My fiance found a 2022 Journey on the website of Dream Auto. Before we know it- he tells me that they're offering to bring it out to our house that evening (2hrs away). This sounds nice except- they wanted to charge $500 delivery.. and wanted to bring it only after dark. They brought it for free... after dark... which makes sense. They preyed on my fiance. We paid $20,000 for a vehicle that's air conditioning only blows hot air. We took it to a shop hoping the air conditioning just needed recharged (still bs) but come to find out- we were sold a LIE. This vehicle has been in more accidents than disclosed which is made evident by the smashed, leaking radiator and a/c condenser - reason for no a/c and the new hood that was put on (that doesn't match the vehicle.. they didn't even hook up the windshield wiper fluid because it doesn't match!). For the vehicle we bought for $20k just a few months ago- we will have to pay thousands to have the air working. AVOID this place at all costs!!!! read more

Just down right fucking terrible. My Girlfriend paid 5400 for a 2016. We asked multiple times if there was anything wrong with the vehicle and were assured that nothing at all was wrong. We test drove it and everything seemed fine. The check engine light came on a few days after the purchase, and now the car turns off randomly while idling. Steering wheel is locking up, trans has a low pull. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE. They just want your money AND ARE GOING TO SELL YOU A FUCKED UP CAR. read more

On October 27, 2023, we purchased a 2014 F-150 from Dream Auto Group in Shelby Township, MI. The sales team was initially phenomenal. They answered all my questions (I thought truthfully) and were extremely responsive. To be honest, they wouldn't leave us alone. However, after agreeing on the price and completing the necessary documents, the financing and warranty suddenly changed. We were charged double for what we were told we would qualify for due to it being "purchased out of state." The warranty we originally agreed to, and received documentation for, was switched to one that the bank financing us provided citing it was "was way better" than the one they initially offered us. The salesman said, "You have my word of honor, this one is twice as good as the one we talked about and on my child's eyes, is the best warranty we can offer you." The truck was delivered to Texas on November 2nd. After they pulled the truck off the trailer it was obvious the vehicle was not as the dealership described. We climbed into the truck and started it only to find a dashboard full of warning indicators and an emergency brake that was stuck/broken. We then had to transfer the vehicle to a local Ford dealership. While they were evaluating the vehicle, we made multiple (10+ over 4 days) attempts were made to contact the dealership, sales team and general manager. Suddenly, the team that was contacting me 40+ times a day had zero time for us. The exact words of our local Ford service writer were, "I cannot believe they sold you this truck." We received a quote for $5,700 and were told the warranty company would only cover about 65% of it. Further attempts to contact the Dream Auto Group, our salesman Keith Moore and the General Manager, Rafi Hami, were unsuccessful. Finally, Friday, November 3rd, Keith responded, and I outlined our situation thus far. We then forwarded him the estimate along with what the warranty company was going to cover, and he stated all this information was being sent to the General Manager, Rafi, who we should be hearing from. It is now November 8th, and no one at the dealership is accepting our calls. We have contacted an attorney and the Attorney General's Office of Michigan. On another note, the service writer and his technicians believe strongly that there has been some sort of tampering with the odometer since the mileage report on the CarFax report from 6/15/21 is only 100 miles from the delivered mileage reading on November 2, 2023. We don't understand how a vehicle could need almost $6k worth of repairs if it hasn't been driven in over two years. Unable to reach anyone at the business for 6 days now. Update, the warranty was CANCELLED, despite checking with Keith TWICE that the truck qualified. Truck did not qualify and now warranty is gone too. read more

I called the dealership and spoke to someone named Rita and asked for the owners name and was told they do not give out that information. Folks these are the red flags associated with the lowest form of sales organizations. People that hide, the manager is not in. Let me take your number and I will have someone call you spells SCUMBAG! I live in Albuquerque and I told them I did not have money to spare in that my husband had passed away, and this would be my only big purchase for the rest of my life, but I feel like I've been taking advantage of they did not tell me about all the paint Stuff that was on the passenger side and also when I was cleaning that off was going to clean the rest of the truck. There is all kinds of holes that is gonna take me probably thousand to fix I just hope this never happens to his mother, daughter sisters, I feel like I was taking advantage of , still waiting on the warranty which they have not sent over they said they would give me he said I would be very happy but now I'm finding out that I'm going to have to probably have rust holes in the roof of my truck For the rest of my life I'm on a fixed income and will not be able to fix it I hope this never happens . Rafi sold my daughter a Dodge Charger that has 1,700 in front end repairs the swing arms, ball joints, the boots, etc, which was not disclosed to her when they sold her the car. Called the warranty company, they stated Dream Auto let them know they were already notified of front end issues and will not cover the repairs. At this point we figure just pay for the repairs and be done with it. It gets better the car was 8,995 and my daughter trade in her paid off car and they gave her 3,500. The guy who answered the phone was literally the rudest person I ever spoke to in my whole life. I called to see about test driving one of their cars and said that if I was to purchase I had $2,500 to put down. He told me that I needed either full coverage insurance or an approved credit app to test drive. So I said I'd call my insurance company and have them change my PLPD to full coverage since that was what I'd need when I opened a car loan anyway. He said "Sweetheart, why would you start a policy just to do a test drive." I explained, I have a policy already, I'll just up the insurance to full coverage, why would I want an approved line of credit with you if I don't end up wanting the car?!? He got extremely angry and told me it sounded like I didn't know how I was going to pay for this car, he said even with $2000 in my pocket I still had a long way to go before I could afford the car I was looking at (which was only $11,000), and told me to find another Jeep. I would never give my money to someone so disrespectful. I then went to research more of their reviews and found multiple others who have had similar issues with the place, as well as reviews stating that they were sold bad cars. I asked what else would be needed to reduce the monthly payment. Instead of answering my question, he decided to "educate me" on finances and insult me with a Ford edge stating he knew it wasn't my dream car. Did I ask? Nope. He just assumed. After a heated phone call of my dissatisfaction he advised me that he talked with the owners and told them they would not doing business with me no matter the communication with them. I drove over an hour to come look at a Focus ST that looked immaculate on their website. I even called before to let them know that I was coming. I got there and waited 15 minutes to be told "yeah the cars in the back, go take a look at it and I'll be there in a few minutes" by the owner. The car was not at all as it looked in pictures. Over the next 20 minutes I was walked past several times without having a word said to me. Eventually I asked him to get the key to start it and without even looking back at me he just says "yeah" and keeps walking. Once I get the key and he disappears again, another half an hour goes by of him just walking past me several times and not saying a word. Eventually I give up on trying to have any interaction with a salesman who obviously cant be bothered to sell me the car, and leave. Dont bother wasting your time at this "dealership". read more

This place should be called "Nightmare Auto Sales"! I don't know how they are even paying the rent. We called ahead and found nobody there. The guy answers "I'll be right there" and we went to breakfast ... an hour later, still not there. He seemed offended each time we asked a question and the truck was supposed to have 4 x 4 - which didn't work but according to him was just a burnt out light and "it works fine, you just don't know what you're doing". You should not be comfortable or at ease purchasing ANY car from this "dealer". The cars are cheap which brings people in - but go in to see the cars for yourself and you will understand. The dealership is hidden away in some sketchy complex, my friend and I joking that we should share location with others in case we were sold instead of the car. The dealership is a tiny one room crammed with two sofas you would pick up from someones trash, and two desks. Papers all over the grimy floors and coffee tables. The cars are just as dirty inside and out, poor salesmanship to not at least vacuum the car before displaying - the salesman dressed in grubby sweats should be a reflection of his work. The paperwork aspect took an unusually long amount of time as compared to any other dealer. Calling the phone to this dealership directs to the owners cell phone of which he seems to put on "Do Not Disturb" - unprofessional. Receiving financing through any bank is difficult, as THREE banks turned me away as the information provided by the dealer was "suspicious" and they did not feel comfortable financing any car with this dealer - A BIG RED FLAG! Something my bank brought to my attention was in purchasing a green Ford Fiesta that was purchased from an auction two years ago. When purchased it had XXX amount of miles. When filing the purchase agreement the dealer put the same amount of miles from when the dealer himself bought the car - SECOND RED FLAG! After purchasing a car all the way from NY two years ago not a single mile has been added? Two years on your lot and not one mile? Hmm Thirdly, IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THE GREEN FORD FIESTA 2012 I must inform you that when reviewing the CarFax listed weather damage subjected to the car - during the time period of 2012 in NY... this car had been through Hurricane Sandy and was quickly sold in a different state to hide any suspicious car sales within the state. Regretful I had given the dealer $500 as a down payment, a big mistake on my part as this dealer does NOT do refunds and I wish they hadn't robbed me so blindly - although I dodged a huge bullet in not choosing to buy from this dealer. I wish i could rate this place a 0. Their listing on Craigslist was a huge lie. They wanted $5500 for a ford fusion that had numerous things wrong with it. We test drove it and immediately knew the breaks were shot. So we ran it up to Napa for them to look at. Besides all the rust and the cracked windshield the trans lines were about to blow, rotars were toasted and other things as well. Not really worth the drive out there and definitely not worth our time. Upon taking it back and saying no thanks we added that we had taken it in and the questioned what was wrong with it.
