I mentioned how familiar all the props seemed from when I used to visit a little magic shop in Ferndale in the 1970s owned by Romeg the Magician and then Poof! As if by magic they pointed to a photo behind the counter and told me that this store was in fact the second reincarnation of that very magical place from my childhood, transported to Clawson 40 years later. What an amazing coincidence that I should take my nephews to buy tricks at the same place that made me fall in love with prestidigitation all those years ago. I bet that some of the items lining the walls were actually the same props from all those years ago. If you love magic this is the place to go.

It ranged from 50-80%. I bought an $8.00 box of Christmas cards for $2.40. I also got, among other things a Wilton Linzer cookie cutter set for $2.49. It was a better deal than the cookie cutter set I bought at 50% from Crate and Barrel. The store can be a bit chaotic most of the time. there is so much stuff to look at, that I sometimes forget why I went into the store in the first place. Oh yeah, tissue paper. They have it, and I bet you can get red and green on sale right now.

She was rude, not well trained and had no business being in contact with customers. Michael's should stay in the fake flower business and leave the framing to to custom framing shops or Hobby Lobby. I'd like to leave a rating of no stars but I can't. I will take my framed item over to Hobby Lobby and have them clean it up. This is where I should have gone in the beginning. Have no reason ever to go back to a Michaels again.
