He answered my questions in a nice way, not condescending as so many gun people are. I'll give ya the place is a bit dumpy, but I enjoyed the cheap cost and no waiting for a lane. The ventilation probably could have been better, but I'm only there for a hundred rounds, not all day. The target holders bounced around a lot and didn't really work well with the 8.5x11" targets I printed at home, but they gave me one full size target that I put underneath which helped the bouncing. I also enjoyed not having people with shotguns or other very loud guns next to me, with only two other people there it was very enjoyable. They seemed to have a nice selection of handguns and they really seemed reasonably priced compared to the other ranges in Macomb county that I've been to. Sign said $35 to field strip and clean a gun, cheaper than I've seen anywhere else. I'll probably go back even though it's a couple miles further than two other ranges from my home. I found the place to be "comfortable" hence the high Yelp rating.

I am calling complete bs on all these butthurt drive-by's claiming "racism," if you're going to a gun range to "feel special" Peter's is not it. If you want to be treated the same as everyone else, go there; no one is treated like VIP.

While I was there an older widow came in looking to get rid of some ammo because she needed the money and while Jeff (the owner) had no use for it, he gave the woman way more than it was worth just to be kind. If I hadn't already decided to make a purchase this act sealed the deal and today I can say I have a "guy" in the gun business.

They insisted that nothing special was needed. A few days later, they called to say that they could ship them. They could, they just didn't want to do the paperwork required. That part would have been fine with me if they had told me up front after actually listening to me. Instead, I got stuck with two shotguns that I had to get a friend to pick up and hold for me. They totally mishandled my shotguns. I wouldn't have written this review if they would have refunded the money I paid them to ship the guns. They didn't even after two calls. I handled it via my credit card issuer. I would avoid this gun shop.

The owners, Mary and Al , were very helpful and knowledgeable about guns and gun safety, and we never felt rushed.
