During that process it tells me I can rent a gun of theirs or bring my own. I selected to bring my own and had to tell them what I was bringing along with all their rules. Fine. The class was about a hundred bucks and was suppose to last 4 hours, with classroom instruction, it didn't. First, they rescheduled me, fine. Then the day before the class I get an email stating I could not use my own gun and would have to use one of theirs, a 22cal. Glock, something I would neve own or shoot. Now the class cost about $100 which I paid online. But when I get there to use their gun they charged me another $69 bucks. Which is never stated on the communications. Talk about a hidden up charge. Overall the class was a joke concentrating only on rudimentary gun safety and silly shooting scenarios. When I got there I had to take a 3 page paper exam from and old NRA manual that was basically outdated. Keep in mind, I've had my CPL for 10 years and served in the US Army. Two things I did notice was the only male on their team seemed to come across a very arrogant and the lady leading the show treated everyone like they were 12 years old. She also had enough shiny bling on her fingers it would have blinded a rich rapper. Finally, the 4 hour class what was supposed to last till 11pm winded at ending around 8:30, It started a 7. They are a scam and just going after the money. I will never go back.

The rifle I was looking at was over 1500 and at the time that was not cheep. I was going to be buying high priced firearms not your bottom of the bine knock off show me the cheapest you got crap and the guy treated me like I was stupid or something. I had to run a class that was using their range a few years back and it was easy to see nothing had changed. Its almost like the owner went out of his way to find assholes. For example, there are poor reviews on yelp for this place because customers didn't realize they'd need to purchase ammo in order to shoot. Ammo isn't free, it never will be free, and if you rent range time anywhere you're bringing your own ammo or paying for it at the range. Thats a bad reason to leave a poor review. Renting range time also doesn't include free lessons to use a firearm. I think that's also another misconception people have when going to a range and renting a firearm - which leads to false poor reviews IMO. If you are looking for a long indoor range to fire your rifle, this place is great. I wish it was 100yards, but 50 yards is still the longest we've got in metro detroit. Ive been here twice and would definitely go back. It's cheap. The targets are free. The range is no frills. No fancy technology. It certainly gets the job done - especially in the area. But don't walk in expecting free ammo or free lessons.

Wasn't thrilled to be locked into the membership for months when I went to cancel. I had account difficulties the whole time, always having trouble to get my account pulled up in store. Their website had display issues on my computer which made it difficult to cancel. When I brought this to the company's attention they told me that it was my problem, not theirs. This range is a big business chain prioritizing profit over people.
