Service is attentive, selection of modern sporting rifle parts and accessories is limited. Didn't see any Trijicon optics on the shelf, pistol magazines are tucked back in the far corner. Transfer fee is $75 which is higher than your nearest big box store. Limited selection and quantity of ammunition. A little disappointed as I'd like to spend my money and have a good experience at my closest local store. Appeared to have a good selection of shotguns, bolt actions, and handguns. read more

Michi-GUN I just wanted to leave a review here as well. As a new gun owner, This is my go-to Armor. They give great advice, solid prices on ammo and guns. They replaced a rattling mag and even reloaded it for me (loading a brand new Sig mag takes the fingers of Thor). They showed me how to take apart and service both mine and my wifes purchases. As well as providing direction when needed. Not the typical know-it-all attitude you come across at a lot of these places and I know because I shopped around looking for my particular item as well as my wife's. I was nervous and they were not. Michi-Gun is really as good as it gets! It's a small family owned gun and tackle store. But, don't let the size fool you. What this store has that the bigger stores (ie Cabelas, Gander) doesn't is personalized, one on one service. I actually went to a Cabelas the other day where I had to take a number to ask a question. Not here. I've bought two pistols from them and I will buy all my firearms from them. They have a knowledgeable, friendly staff that will stop at nothing to help you make an informed, sound decision. They carry all the main name brand pistols, rifles, and shotguns. There holster selection is awesome--- unless you are a lefty, like me. BUT the friendly sales staff were happy to order any holster I wanted. I HIGHLY recommend this store. PLEASE go check them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

MG is usually always busy as Vin M. stated but once your waited on you'll see why, their personal attention. Went in yesterday to browse and saw a firearm I'd never heard of. They didn't look down on me as a ignorant customer they explained the caliber and history of it. I am sorry but I am going to tell the truth about my experience with michigun on harper. It was like pulling teeth to get what I needed. If it was not for the fact that I new exactly what rifle I wanted and they had it in stock I would no way have spent my mo ey there. And while I was waiting on my approval, I was in the store 2 times and both times the big guy there treating me like I was bothering him and ther was only one other customer in ther on a Tuesday afternoon. I wanted to buy a optic and forend grip extra pick rail for my new rifle. He was no help what's so ever, they have no idea how much I was ready to spend..and the guy that sold me my rifle earlier that week on a saterday completely ignored me after he made the sale the next 2 times I was in ther..so the day I picked up my rifle, a guy I never seen before went and got it for me. I payed in full in advance, he handed it to me and did not ask me if I needed anything elts or even say have a good day enjoy your new rifle..unbelievable, since then I have spent over $960 on accessories for my rifle from other gun shops. I will never go back to michigun and that's hard for me to say. I have never wrote a review like this in my hole life..but that's how much I can't believe the way I was treated, sorry to bother you guys so much. All I wanted was to spend money on a bad ass rifle ! Oh and one more thing, I was told verbally my rifle was one price and when he wrote it up he tacked on and extra $99 plus tax wich wiped out my deposit and when I brought it up they ignored me and shut me down !!!! My first time there I drove 75 miles to get there to purchase one Browning A-Bolt 12 gauge shotgun. The price was so reasonable that I end up purchasing two identical shotguns. When I get home and spread the word to some of my friends, they ended up selling seven more of those exact same guns to my friends / family because their price was so much lower that it made it worth the drive. I plan on returning this Feb. 2019 to purchase a semi-automatic pistol or pistols if I can get a sweet deal which I feel confident in getting. 5 star service and all around shopping experience. read more

That was weird because they asked the customer before me if he needed ammo for his 9mm and he replied ,no because he had plenty at home. Went in today and looked around for about 10 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged. Not so much as a "we'll be with you shortly folks." We're in the market for a couple of guns and I'm skeptical. My husband really wants one. This doesn't help the cause. Hard to tell who is working and who is there shooting the shit. Do not go here! They are so stuck in the old ways of doing business. They treat the customer like they are doing you a favor and we are the ones spending our money. This was not just once but all 4 times that I went there. They would not even save me a dollar on the ammo I was buying for my new $600 Glock that I was purchasing at that very moment and even looked at me like I was crazy for even asking. Well guess what these companies wonder why they go out of business. My next firearm purchase was done online and saved $125 from Michigun's quote. Also bought my ammo from an online retailer. 50 rounds of Federal HST for $17.50 plus shipping came to $25. Michigun for the same exact ammo that they would not save me a dollar on charged me $31.50 for a box of 20. Never again. So I don't want to hear the oh support your local gun shops. Yeah right! So I can be treated like they are better than me and we have what you want. It won't be long if they continue with heir attitude and business model before they close their doors. The only problem with this store is that they are ALWAYS busy! This is a good thing though but just be prepared to wait in line. They have everything and if they don't have something they can get it and their extensive knowledge on anything and everything guns is incredible. Don't be afraid to ask them anything. They got firearms for me that other shops in the area never even heard of. So many of the local shops are staffed with hung-ho gun a__holes too who are very demeaning in how they speak to you. The place is so small. I came from Warren because they said they had primers. Yeah! When I arrived on Saturday the place was packed. There is only a 4 ft by 15 ft standing area and everyone is shoulder to shoulder. There was no number to take, no line to stand in, and I felt like you there to fend for yourself. After waiting for 15 minutes in a crowd of people someone walked in and they helped him first because they noticed his face and said his name. That was enough for me! I would love to have another place that to go to but I can't stand that kind of place. They need to knock down that middle wall and make more room and have some kind of order for their customers. I personally believe though, that without Adam, being the mainstay of the staff; this business could not be as successful as they are and have been. Losing Pat as a salesman may not affect the business trends but his comfortable personality and knowledge will be missed, for sure. One can find many hard to find accessories at Michigun. They have a variety of new and used guns for sale. The staff is very helpful and available to answer any questions I may have. I also have discovered that Michigun gives the best resale prices on guns for trade in. The staff is very easy to work with. If it happens to be busy, which means they must be doing something well, don't feel above everyone; get their attention and they will be with you as soon as they can. That's why Richard's job is to bring the dogs there, I guess; to pacify and to pass the time. I really enjoy visiting Michigun! I feel my money is well spent! read more
