While I was there an older widow came in looking to get rid of some ammo because she needed the money and while Jeff (the owner) had no use for it, he gave the woman way more than it was worth just to be kind. I brought two shotguns to IFA Tactical to be shipped to California. While there, I told them about the requirements for shipping them to the FFL in California. They insisted that nothing special was needed. A few days later, they called to say that they could ship them. They could, they just didn't want to do the paperwork required. That part would have been fine with me if they had told me up front after actually listening to me. Instead, I got stuck with two shotguns that I had to get a friend to pick up and hold for me. They totally mishandled my shotguns. I wouldn't have written this review if they would have refunded the money I paid them to ship the guns. They didn't even after two calls. worst gun shop experience i have ever had, owner is in over his head and has a ego. would avoid, especially when double action and close quarters is down the road. charged me 200 dollars to fix a AR-15 returned it to me unfixed and with a loose buttstock, came back to buy some parts and such and have never had a tasteful experience in there shop. horrible prices and horrible selection this place should honestly be ashamed of themselves read more

Went in there to have my reddot sight put on on 2 of my pistols that I just purchased them fools wanted to charge me 100 dollars to put on a reddot sight they are scammers in there I wouldn't step a foot in there again I drove 10 minutes down the street to double action indoor shooting center and gun shop they didn't even charge me a dollar when to put them on don't get scammed here they are a small private business that try and get every dollar they can out of you it's not even about the 100 dollars I was gonna pay it but I'm like last time I did this it was for free why they charging me I ask the guy he goes Liability I'm like oh okay ya that's bullshit never mind give me my guns back called double action went there and have them put it on thanks for the bad experience for a first time customer read more

My husband and I went to get him a holster because he needed a specific one. We were told that this place makes them the way you want them to fit your gun. We told the salesman he needed to wear his gun on his middle back and needed a right hand draw so the holster woI'll have to be a left to draw with right hand from the middle back. The salesman kept telling us we should get one to wear in front or he could make one that is versatile to wear front or back, but we were very specific that we needed the left. He again said "are you sure? Once made you can't return " We said" Yes, we're sure " we paid and left. When the holster was ready for pick up, we noticed they made it for the front and not the back. And we are not able to put it in the middle back for a right draw. The salesman tried to say that's what we decided on, but I was with my husband and we both specificaply said he wants to wear it on his back and draw with right hand. The owner is refusing to make this right and give us what we ordered. trying to blame us. He said he could make another one for a discounted fee. so now we paid $75 for a holster we can't use and they want to charge another $50 plus tax for a new one. He also proceeded to tell u my husband this is how most people wear it. I personally don't care how most people wear it. Acting like it's not his fault because that's what everybody does. But that's not how my husband wears it. We will never use this store again. They do not listen to what the customer wants. they do want T most people want. very disappointed and bad business! read more

These guys get it. The storefront is very non-descript, it's in an industrial area. You won't find them unless you're looking for them. Great prices (look under the counter and over it, do basic math. Very difficult, I know) Enthusiastic sales: they are real people that have an opinion; ask them Ackshually... a better selection than most gun places in Metro-D. You might be surprised at what you find here. The latter cannot be understated. You can walk in here and find desirable pieces hanging on the wall. And in their cabinet. And in their holsters. I was looking for an Armorer that could make adjustments on my H&K .45 tactical. The high sites built for a suppressor were out of alignment and I could not find a place that would work on it. I called after hours on a Wed. expecting to leave a message and actually talked to someone. They were friendly and helpful. Certain that they could could fix the issue. I walked in Thursday evening after work and while they were busy I was immediately greeted and they let me know someone would be with me shortly. In a few moments one of the gentleman was freed up an dI explained the situation with the weapon and my conversation of the previous evening. He introduced me to Bill whom examined my .45 explained what the issue way, proceeded to fix it, show me what he did and allowed me to see via the lasers he installed that it was now dead on. While he was working on my gun another employee greeted me whom had been busy and asked if I needed anything while I was waiting. Everyone was very friendly my H&K is once again shooting true and I will be back. Thanks for a great experience for a first time customer. read more

They don't get orders in worth while..... They buy their stuff from Gander Mountain or Bass Pro and mark it up by 100%. Don't believe me, ask the local GM guys if the owner comes in and buys 50 things at a time. I have gone to the shop several times, to support a LOCAL business, with terrible service. Not to mention the worst thing is they gave me the Military/Police discount in the shop of $50.00 for a MagPul AR15 magazine. I knew I was getting shafted, I mentioned it to the guy behind the counter who was very little help any other time I was in-store, and got the "Try and find em' anywhere else" retort. I looked at the website and they offer the $49.95 price to anyone. What a P.O.S that place is. I will NEVER spend another dime, nor will I let a brother from my M/P community be bamboozled there.
