Highly, highly recommend the private class setting she offers as you don't get the 1v1 in the corporate establishment. Her home is SO inviting and she makes something as 'simple' as learning knife skills fun and engaging. So far, I've taken the pasta class, knife skills, and cookies class and loved every minute. I'm always engaging with her to see what else she is willing to open up her home to and teach me and I've never been let down.

It's one of my first stops at the holidays and for anniversary/birthday gifts because they always have new stuff, and it's pretty affordable. It's like a mix between the DIA's gift shop and other art stores like Art is in Market and Urban Merchant. They close early on Saturdays and aren't open on Sundays though, which is kind of inconvenient. But they are open until late during the week which is cool because you can see the classes going on.

It felt rushed and we just ended up throwing everything on a random table. Also I should note you're only allowed to have one drink per person. Once class was started, our instructor was just making up a routine as she went along so it just felt a bit thrown together. Oh also, website says to bring heels for your final performance but we weren't even allowed to wear heels because it was our first time attending a class. All together, it was a nice experience but I think it should be advertised as more of a workout class rather than a party experience.
