While I was there an older widow came in looking to get rid of some ammo because she needed the money and while Jeff (the owner) had no use for it, he gave the woman way more than it was worth just to be kind. If I hadn't already decided to make a purchase this act sealed the deal and today I can say I have a "guy" in the gun business.

I brought two shotguns to IFA Tactical to be shipped to California. While there, I told them about…read morethe requirements for shipping them to the FFL in California. They insisted that nothing special was needed. A few days later, they called to say that they could ship them. They could, they just didn't want to do the paperwork required. That part would have been fine with me if they had told me up front after actually listening to me. Instead, I got stuck with two shotguns that I had to get a friend to pick up and hold for me. They totally mishandled my shotguns. I wouldn't have written this review if they would have refunded the money I paid them to ship the guns. They didn't even after two calls. I handled it via my credit card issuer. I would avoid this gun shop.

Add that to the $50.00 transfer fee and all of a sudden this is not the place to purchase. Knowing the high price they charge to shoot Sporting Clays there, a group of us shot their Ridge Sporting Clays course expecting a top notch experience. The course itself was laid out as expected with nothing special. The targets were all the same size and had only decent arrangement. We kept waiting for the good stuff. Sad to say that never happened. As anyone knows the throwers will malfunction at any course. With one expected "no bird" when the button was depressed on 5 of 14 of the stations, this was acceptable to us. Until we went to pay. They charged us over .50 per extra count. They literally give you ZERO extra birds or no-throws on the 100 machines. With other ranges giving 40 per 100, we didn't expect to pay for 22 over. It's not the cost per se, it's the audacity. This place is way overpriced and very underwhelming. My group of shooters will not be back there.
