I needed repairs on my tile roof. After getting two other estimates I found JP Roofing Company on Yelp. I was connected with Raymond who was extremely professional and friendly. He came out the next day to check out my roof. Raymond checked out my roof and made recommendations of what needed repair. He found one area not observed the the two previous contractors. He up loaded my roof on Google maps and drew out precisely the work he proposed to be repaired. Raymond stated they will run new underlay, in double layer, from the edge of my roof clear to the crown of my roof. The other two contractors were only going to replace the underlay in a 10' X 10' square in two different areas where I had water damage to my facia. When Raymond gave me the price I was pleasantly surprised. His estimate was just slightly higher than the lowest previous proposal. Plus he was replacing my cracked tiles at no charge and replacing all damaged wood, including the facia at no charge. When I asked when he could start, he said he had an opening for two days before starting 3:large projects. Raymond showed up with 6 workers at 7 am the next morning. They worked extremely clean and professional. All the workers were very friendly, polite, and friendly. They had to finish up the next day. The work area was neat and clean before they left the first day. When they finished the work the next day they asked if I had any exterior facia paint. I did and they painted all the wood they had repaired. They even painted the stucco around the areas they repaired with the stucco paint I had. I can't say enough about JP Roofing based out of Chino, California. After a really bad windstorm, my roof was missing multiple shingles which gave me the opportunity to climb up and see how truly awful the condition of my roof was--warped, gaps, loose nails, missing and cracked shingles and damage to wood where rain had penetrated. I saw a JP Roofing truck at a neighbor's house and called for an estimate. Raymond responded quickly and provided me a competitive quote which included teardown, disposal, fascia replacement (painted), some repairs to the wood on my attached patio cover, new flashing, new vents, new shingles, new roof system from GAF. The man doesn't miss a thing. The price was within my budget and the only things I added were a rain diverter over my door (they did it for two doors) and to take away that ugly satellite dish. To be truthful, I didn't even know what fascia was and I declined it--Raymond assured me that it was important and he was absolutely correct. The crew(s) who came were punctual, highly skilled, mindful not to damage vegetation, respectful and genuinely focused on doing their very best. Raymond, while not on the site everyday responded to my every question and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. They covered my pool and A/C unit to limit dust, dirt and debris during tearoff and other subsequent work. Delivered a port-a-potty for their crew's use, which was discreetly placed in my driveway. They worked diligently throughout the week (excluding Sunday) from 7am to 4pm or later, always cleaning up before they left to make sure no nails or obstacles were left behind in the drive or walkways. After one week my roof looks exquisite--the drip edge is matched to the shingles and it overlays the top of the fascia which now is protecting my rafter tails from rot. I couldn't be happier with the price, scheduling, quality, workmanship, appearance and cleanliness of the work done by JP Roofing. They really took care of me, and my house! read more

HOMEOWNER BEWARE! Joe Perez with JP Roofing does not even deserve 1 star. Joe Perez (JP) is a nice and friendly guy, but his workmanship is the worst. He does not follow through, and is truly unreliable. I have seen one of his guys drink while working. That's a huge liability. I contracted JP to work on the chimney cap for me. He did a terrible job. He did not take the time to properly measure the correct size of the chimney cap before having his sheet metal guy fabricate a new one. It did not fit, and he butchered the new chimney cap. Instead of fixing the mistakes, JP ever came back to finish. Joe Perez will leave u stranded. He is unreliable, and his workmanship is horrible. Three houses, including ours, on our street hired this company. They did our neighbors first. Two of our skylights that they replaced in our sun porch required some cutting. They made the cuts by hand and it was so uneven that it was off by as much of a 1/4" over two feet and wavy. When I called, I was told they could charge me extra to come back and put molding up for me but I'd have to buy the molding. They also "forgot" to include a skylight as it did t show up in their estimating software so that was an additional $400.00. After $16k for a roof and skylights, I was left fairly unhappy with the final product on the two skylights. The roof is fine but the skylights ruined my review on this company. For the price I paid, you'd think some molding installed free of charge tofu's their crooked cut job would have been good faith.
