I asked for an adjustment, and was told no they couldn't do it after they looked at them. I gave them another chance a year or so later - they said they would, but it would cost me $20!!! I went to another vendor in town who did it without question, and it cost me $2. Maybe they thought because I hadn't purchased them at their store it was beneath them to adjust for me. It was dismissive and rude. The other place was the opposite. Not sure I can say who they are, but they're in the Pear Tree Shopping Center.

She came back and said they don't accept my insurance anymore and my warranty had expired and they would do nothing to help me with my worthless glasses. His product and his rapport is not customer focused but profit driven. He is not a nice guy!!! He should back his product and at least face me.

The customer service at the Membership Services desk was the worst we've encountered at any Costco. The employees we interacted with were unhelpful, lacked knowledge of Costco's policies and procedures, and did not handle our issue professionally. As long-time members, we expect a higher level of service. We continue to buy the Humboldt Bay Coffee ($18 for a 2.5 pound bag) and a 2 pound bag of Black Oak Coffee Roasters for the same price. Both are excellent In addition they have a good selection of Mendocino Spirits and I highly recommend their Low Gap Bourbon. AS with many things we do we have some rules that help us get out of Costco with our pocketbooks and dignity intact: 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas.
