I just wanted distance glasses. I did not reveal that I was a physician as it didn't seem relevant. The office staff was uniformly pleasant. This is the only reason I added a star. I had what seemed to be a thorough exam by this optometrist. She was very nice. I got the prescription and filled it elsewhere. When I put the glasses on, it was like looking through a funhouse mirror. I called the office staff to complain. I had to go there to verify that the prescription was correct, and it was. I was told to wear the glasses for a few weeks to get used to them. I told them that I thought that was dangerous because they were so bad. They would only make a follow up appointment for a few weeks later. I declined. I paid out of pocket to go elsewhere and got a prescription that was completely different. I filled it and the glasses were perfect. Either this optometrist can't use the machines or she can't write a prescription. I'm not sure which. Either way, you'd be wise to avoid this office, unless your goal is to go to a place wheree everyone is extremely pleasant

Better treatment at the Mall in Ukiah for 89.99 and two pair of glasses. They could accommodate her. ADA, note your need for awareness.
