After two decades of hunting, I confirm there is a first-class dentist, with a thoughtful, charming…read morebedside manner, in the Ft. Bragg/Mendocino CA area: Dr. Brandon LeBeck. For 20 years locally I have sought a dentist as good as the best in larger towns I have lived near; I still use an excellent specialty dentist in Santa Rosa, Dr. Matthew Anderson, two hours away. But when I had a new full crown over an implant, Dr. LeBeck matched the best of the dentists I have known in a long life. He was meticulous in fitting the new tooth over the hardware and didn't finish until it was perfect (which it is and has been for months, even "approved" by Dr. Anderson). He also did a careful inspection of a sensitive area and an excellent (and again meticulous) repair to my chipped front tooth. Finally, he did a scan procedure to update my out-of-date night guard and the fit was perfect the first time. He even had his nurse, which has not happened by any dentist I know, call a few days later to check how things were going. All in all, terrific dental coverage for a variety of ailments - and head and shoulders above the three other, rather average local dentists I have used over time. Finally, his front desk manager, Lisa, matches in excellence and precision the quality of her boss. Bravo to the team! And to Dr. LeBeck, thrilled to have you ten minutes away. P.S. He's also younger than the oldsters I no longer see so he will likely be around for a good long while.

I would say one of if not the most modern and up to date staff and equipment on the coast! The can…read moremake crowns IN OFFICE! Relaxing, clean atmosphere with awesome young, but experienced dentists 10/10 Fort Bragg is so lucky this couple chose our town to open their practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilensky's since 2010. I have had no problems with the care I have…read morereceived until this last visit. I needed a root canal. That was accomplished by Jeff. The next day the crown next to the tooth that had the root canal had the porcelain splinter and fall off. I called and Dr. Wilensky said he would repair it. Once in the chair he said the crown was intact, that he could smooth the rough edges but it would be gray, not white. As it was a back tooth I agreed. I got home and looked. It was shiny silver. I called and made an appointment to have it replaced. At this appointment Dr. Wilensky is telling me that the splintered porcelain was not a direct result of the root canal. It was a coincidence. He told me of a Roman saying that had to do with a comet and a good grain harvest. I was told it would cost over $500, because it was, in my opinion, an unbelievable coincidence, not a result of the root canal. I still have a silver smile, it's just not in evidence at the moment.

I wish I could give zero stars! Wilensky only cares about the money! When I decided against a root…read morecanal from another dentists recommendation and articles of how bad they can be and I was treated with such disrespect and was disgusted that he continued to try and talk me into having a root canal because then I would have to pay $700 plus the $2,000 from my insurance! He then went on to basically say he can't help me with any other problems because people sometimes have a 'box of demons' quote. that can cause conditions and he can't do anything for me! So if you don't have a lot of money do not go to this dentist!!!!
