These are the facts: while laid flat on my back in the exam chair, him on one side, his assistant on the other, they had an argument with each other across me. Further, while probing my gum depth, he was heavy handed and hurt me badly. I asked specifically if he would use a gentler touch, he did not and continued to hurt me. I was shocked in that no other dentist hurt me unnecessarily before that. I wish I'd been a better advocate for myself and said "Stop, let me up" but I was so surprised by this behavior I failed to do so. The atmosphere in the office was dark and bleak as I paid and checked out which indicated to me unhappy employees. I phoned in later to state these facts and got a call back scolding me loudly and harshly. Again, I was shocked never having been treated so badly by a professional before this event.
