These are the facts: while laid flat on my back in the exam chair, him on one side, his assistant on the other, they had an argument with each other across me. Further, while probing my gum depth, he was heavy handed and hurt me badly. I asked specifically if he would use a gentler touch, he did not and continued to hurt me. I was shocked in that no other dentist hurt me unnecessarily before that. I wish I'd been a better advocate for myself and said "Stop, let me up" but I was so surprised by this behavior I failed to do so. The atmosphere in the office was dark and bleak as I paid and checked out which indicated to me unhappy employees. I phoned in later to state these facts and got a call back scolding me loudly and harshly. Again, I was shocked never having been treated so badly by a professional before this event. I hope you get him on a 5-star day. I won't go back.

For 20 years locally I have sought a dentist as good as the best in larger towns I have lived near; I still use an excellent specialty dentist in Santa Rosa, Dr. Matthew Anderson, two hours away. But when I had a new full crown over an implant, Dr. LeBeck matched the best of the dentists I have known in a long life. He was meticulous in fitting the new tooth over the hardware and didn't finish until it was perfect (which it is and has been for months, even "approved" by Dr. Anderson). He also did a careful inspection of a sensitive area and an excellent (and again meticulous) repair to my chipped front tooth. Finally, he did a scan procedure to update my out-of-date night guard and the fit was perfect the first time. He even had his nurse, which has not happened by any dentist I know, call a few days later to check how things were going. All in all, terrific dental coverage for a variety of ailments - and head and shoulders above the three other, rather average local dentists I have used over time. Finally, his front desk manager, Lisa, matches in excellence and precision the quality of her boss. Bravo to the team! And to Dr. LeBeck, thrilled to have you ten minutes away. P.S.
