The Imperial team showed up promptly at 7 AM and started their full day. Towards the end of this project one of the things that impressed me was that I had wanted the hole from the spa filled up pretty much to the top as I needed to add pavers to cover the dirt. The crew used this machine that heavily pushes down the dirt and rock to make the earth sturdy. When "finished", they saw that it was about 8-10 inched from the top so they went back to their trucks with a wheelbarrow and collected more dirt and debris to get the dirt line higher. Imperial took care of the permit, electrical and plumbing. I am a senior citizen who had question after question with these folks...on the phone, email and in person. All treated me with such respect. In a heartbeat, use them.

Let's start with the fun part: Ryan spilled paint in the driveway and on a Rolls Royce! Then CHARGED to clean up the paint and did not pay to fix the car. The Rolls Royce is a rag top. Keep in mind he charged for cleaning up his own spill. Ryan was supposed to fix the ceiling. Ryan fixed the ceiling but then painted it the WRONG COLOR! The paint was not even remotely close. He was instructed to match the paint and did not do that at all. It now needs to be redone completely. What else.. Oh yes. Ryan promised he would begin on a certain date... He did not begin for three days after he promised. At the last second he suddenly only took cash...which he said was going to be 2k. He left early and did not finish all items that were supposed to be fixed. He had to be stopped and sent back in to finish Ryan refused to write a receipt. Or itemize what was done. Ryan is not to be trusted and will only leave you in worse shape than you were to begin with. AZ Family...BEWARE!

Our home restoration is still ongoing, so this three-star rating reflects our experience to date…read moreand will be updated once the project is complete. We understand that a large insurance restoration is complicated and that not every delay or decision is within the contractor's control. However, our experience has required far more homeowner involvement than it should. We have encountered significant communication, documentation, job-site oversight, and contents-related concerns that have taken considerable time and effort to address. The brightest part of our experience has been Kim Helmick. Kim has been compassionate, responsive, level-headed, and willing to listen when we felt overwhelmed or unsupported. She has genuinely made us feel that someone within the company is advocating for us and working toward a better outcome. Kim's service has been five-star, and without her involvement, this would unquestionably be a one-star review. We sincerely hope the remaining issues are resolved and that the completed restoration gives us a reason to update this review even more positively.

The shower pan was installed with no liner....that's literally bathroom construction 101. Which means I'm going to have to rip out both shower pans and have them redone costing me thousands of dollars and delaying me renting out the property. Stay the hell away from Russ. This guy is a straight-up con artist who steals and leaves a trail of destruction and unpaid bills. The work he did/subbed out on my shower was a complete joke. It's leaking through the floor pan, rotting the baseboards, drywall, and flooring. I had to chase Russ down just to get the subcontractor's contact info--(don't forget, I paid half of the shower cost direct to the subcontractor when it was already in the budget and was Russ's responsibility but I needed the job done). Russ blew all the money I gave him and it was NOT on my job because he barely bought anything. When I finally called the subcontractor, he told me Russ NEVER paid him the other half--what a shock. The subcontractor promised to get back to me in a week, then promptly disconnected his phone. And I'm sure you can guess Russ quit answering my calls and texts. So not only did Russ steal money from me, but he also ripped off his own subcontractor and left me with a total mess. Russ is the definition of a crook. He'll leave you with unfinished work, unpaid contractors, and a pile of garbage that costs you even more to fix. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Worst experience ever.
