So I think Titan was bought by Insulation Labs but they are just redirecting the calls instead of shutting down the Titan brand because they want to double their chance at getting work. This feels like borderline fraud to me, so I won't be using either company. To be fair, I have no knowledge of the quality of their work. It's unfortunate they chose to do that.

After discovering some of my duct connections were wrapped in asbestos, a specialized asbestos abatement company was hired to remove the asbestos & everything in contact with it. After that was completed, Insulation Labs was hired to: Remove all of the old blown-in insulation (with a giant vacuum); sanitize the attic; Air Seal any openings into the attic including any electrical wiring or fixtures (ceiling lights, attic fans & plumbing/HVAC pipes or runs). Also included was Rodent Exclusion (performed by a pest control company) - sealing up any places that allowed entrance or exit into or out of the attic. And finally, Installing R38 roll-in fiberglass insulation (cut to fit inside of the rafters). The entire crew (up to 6 or 8 individuals) were AWESOME! Especially Victor & Domingo! They were constantly giving me updates & progress reports on what was happening, & if I asked a question, they would stop what they were doing & give me their full undivided attention, completely explaining things, & then make sure my question was answered, & then inquire if I had any more questions! I contacted them regarding insulation work completed at my home in 2022 because I had recently been given concerns about its current condition. I was simply trying to get an explanation, verify what work had been completed, and let them know what other professionals had observed. I also explained that I would be having a city inspector evaluate it. Instead of having a professional conversation, Angel, the Operations Manager, raised his voice, spoke over me, and became extremely intense and intimidating. I was genuinely trying to understand the situation, not argue with him. Regardless of what the inspection ultimately finds, the way I was spoken to was enough for me to decide that I will not work with this company again. I no longer feel comfortable or confident having them perform additional work on my home. I will have the insulation independently inspected and address any necessary work elsewhere. Based on my experience with management alone, I cannot recommend this company.

The crew was always on time, incredibly professional, and their pricing was by far the best out of all the quotes I received. What really sets them apart is their attention to detail. They safely isolated the issue so I could bring in an electrician to fix it, and then they promptly returned to finish their rodent proofing. The final results are amazing. Before estimates came in, it was clear that Insulation Labs was the best-- Ray came on time, knew what he was talking about, answered all my questions, and followed up promptly with the estimate. In addition to being the best service of all five estimates, it was also the lowest price. Julio was in touch for all things scheduling. The team that installed the crawl space vapor barrier came on time when they said they would, cleaned up all debris following the work, and left the work area as they found it. Julio called after the work was done to ask how everything was-- and I told him that the crawl space door seemed to have been bent back a bit in a way that could let a rodent slip under the house (which is understandable given how much material they had to bring into the crawl space). Julio promptly made an appointment for his team to come and fix the issue, and they even added additional hardware cloth on two other spaces upon my request. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, service, quality of work, and responsiveness. And the price was the best of all five estimates I got as well. I recommend hiring Insulation Labs for your job.

It's more of a boutique operation, which means he can offer you guidance without layers of people in between. Jonathan himself, or one of his team members from my understanding, will be up in your attic getting the job done, and they work fast. We requested insulation in our attic, and he came in and had it installed in just a couple of hours. He also replaced an attic fan that dated back to 1970, so our attic ventilation was addressed as part of the service as well. We noticed a major difference the same day, especially with the heat we've been experiencing here in Southern California. We recently bought a house that had inadequate insulation, probably somewhere around R-3, and now we're upwards of R-38. Our air conditioner was hardly ever cycling off. It was running almost the entire time since we bought our house in the middle of this hot summer. We were confused as to why the house kept heating up even while the AC was running. I called Jonathan to discuss the issue, and we talked through radiant barriers, attic ventilation, attic floor sealing, and the existing insulation that was there. He guided me through a cost-effective, value-driven process that made a whole lot of sense. He explained the benefits of each option, and ultimately we landed on starting with the insulation. That alone ended up curing the issue with our HVAC system not being able to keep up with the heat. Now the house feels cooler on hot days, and our AC isn't running nearly as much. We're incredibly happy we selected him as our service provider, and I would refer him to anybody who needs insulation or attic work done. Jonathan is the real deal. He's a genuinely kind and authentic human being, easy to communicate with, and someone who clearly cares about the work he does.
