Beware!! New Owners who do not know what they are doing…read more I am a 20 year customer and loved all the people who worked there and never had a problem until now. The new owners are not cleaning the clothes on the premises. When I went to pick up my shirts on the day they were due and they could not locate them as I waited for 45 minutes. The person who was at the counter is part of the new ownership and is totally incompetent. She finally called someone to find out the tags or slips are falling off and would be there the next day. When I went there the next day, they were still not ready. She said they may arrive the next day after 2:00pm. I asked them for a discount of any amount just for my inconvenience. The person at the counter called her manager and I spoke to her on the phone and after I explained my situation she said no discount. I asked her if she still wants my business. She said NO. Thank God it was a small order. The total for the two shirts was just 6.50. All I wanted was something to tell me they respected and appreciated my business with them. Even a dollar or two. Now I will never go back and will tell everyone I know this story. No Business Acumen and another example of a new owner coming in a screwing up a business that had been around 70 or 80 years.

I don't leave reviews often but this place deserves one. I've brought probably 5-10 garments here…read morein the last year ranging from casual linen jackets, sport coats, dress pants, jeans, chinos, etc. I have received nothing but great work. Stitching always seems to be done well and clean. Biggest complaint is that there's always a few loose threads on my clothes when I get them back, but this doesn't warrant taking away a star. I've hand things done from a normal hem, cuffed hem, sport coat sleeve shortened, coat sleeve shortened and it's all been good work. It's not the cheapest place I've been too in the area, but I've been to other tailor shops that have done work not even close to this shop. It's the old saying that you get what you pay for. Overall, this place definitely deserves more stars. Quality work at a fair price. If you know how to walk in and tell them what you want done, I don't think you'll have any problem.

ZERO SOCIAL AWARENESS.... I am extremely dissatisfied and…read moredisappointed with hospitality of this business. My girlfriend came here to get her dress fitted and the lady was basically telling my gf she was gaining weight, mind you she got the dress 2 weeks before the fitting, and also insinuating for her to stop eating. In addition, she was making the whole process difficult because she made the mistake and wouldn't own up to correcting it. This behavior was completely inappropriate, not just in a professional setting but inappropriate period. This place deserves a star rating less than 1 and a course on workplace relations to get their employee relations certification. These are NOT nice people, do NOT do business here.

The day before my 3rd appointment I called to check what time my appointment was and they told me. When I showed up at that time they were bewildered to see me and said they didn't do my dress. The claimed to have mixed up brides even though I called. This was less than two weeks from my wedding. They were also paid to change my veil and decided at that third (failed) appointment to tell me they weren't going to do it. The seamstress attached draped sleeves to my dress and one broke on my wedding day. She also created a bustle and two of the three hooks fell off during the reception. Extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend.
