I need expensive shoes with extra width, and extra depth in the heel so that my brace doesn't pull out of shoe. Being on disability, and a fixed income, I am always looking to spend our limited income efficiently. I was able to buy a $179 pair of almost properly fitting " Mary Jane's" shoes for $59 in the clearance section, the strap was way too short. I took it to Farrell for an estimate, And he said he was able to fix it without any problem. In a few short days, Farrell extend the strap to make it perfect! His craftsmanship, and attention to detail is meticulous. It's impossible to find the repair. Both Bryan and his Dad are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and informative regarding your repair. The price was reasonable, and definitely a value in my situation. I highly recommend Clarke's Express Shoe Repair, and , although, this was my first visit, I am now a committed repeat customer. I called a number of local shoe repair places and Clarke's was the first one to answer that had weekend hours so I opted to give them a try. Initially, I dropped off the shoe and was told I would get a call with an estimate. I dropped them off on a Saturday and had heard nothing by the following Sunday so I reached out via Facebook messenger and left my number. I was called back by Farrell, the owner, and given a quote, a time estimate and an option to pay via PayPal (they don't do credit cards). Once that was all squared away, Clarke's went to work on my shoe. When it was finished Farrell called me to let me know I could pick it up and explained a little about what he did to the shoe. While Bel Air is a bit of a drive for me, the customer service and quality of the work that Clarke's provided means I will be returning in the future.

I got a pair of leather soled shoes and unfortunately with the way I walk, the toes started wearing out super fast, even after a few wears. It's the nature of the material, and there are compromises. Did my research and found Sunny had done an install of metal toe-tips on the exact same model of shoe that I had, and came highly recommended. The tips were worn out so badly that there needed to be extra leather built up, and you can tell the care, craftsmanship, and dedication to making them look perfect.
