In May and June I shopped at this boutique. I bought a purse which was very expensive and the zipper broke a month after purchasing. I took it back asking if it could be repaired, sales person called the owner and I was told no and sales person recommended a shoe repair business I go to. The same day I purchased the purse I also purchased an outfit. this weekend I went to wear the outfit and they had given me the wrong size so I could not wear it. Yesterday I went to the shop asked if I could exchange the pants for the correct size, I was dealing with the owner at this point, she was less than pleasant and refused to exchange them because she said they were a summer item and fall items were out now , then told me the price tags were no longer on the item and that too much time had passed since my purchase. I told her it was your employees error giving me the wrong size and she still refused. I told her that was bad business since it was their error, she just said sorry can't do it. I found that very unfair. Their clothes are pricy and quite honestly, you can find comparable clothing at TJMaxx or Marshals for a quarter of what they charge. I was very disappointed in the way the owner treated me and will never shop here again. I have told my friends and family and they will no longer shop there either. At times I have walked out empty handed because I do not like to be pushed or receive a "hard sell". BUYER BEWARE! No refunds on defective merchandise. Wore a linen top once and fabric shredded at the seam. I called store immediately, spoke with Jacqueline, explaining I lived out of state and wouldn't be back for several months. I was told it wouldn't be a problem to return but when I returned this week with receipt and original tags I was told I could only get store credit. Since there was nothing comparably priced or suited to my climate, I now have a worthless store credit since I live 3000 miles away. I have never been so furious over a store (actually how I was treated by the employee) in my life. My three daughters and various friends of mine have shopped at this store since they opened. When I received a $25.00 GIFT online I decided to stop in after breakfast at Crema. The GIFT did not say that it was toward a minimum purchase. The clerk did say it was for regular price items only. Fair enough. Not needing any clothing at the time I selected a bracelet for $16.00. She had already called the owner and said within our hearing that "she asked about a minimum purchase." First unprofessional and tacky move-discussing a customer in front of the customer. Then she proceeded to tell us how next time there would be a minimum purchase required. Tacky again to discuss store business with customers. Then when I presented my certificate she said "we can't give money back" to which I said I didn't expect anything back. She would not let me buy the bracelet with the certificate because I wasn't buying anything else. She was so rude and condescending. She acted like I was trying to get away with something sneaky instead of honoring the GIFT certificate. Of course I didn't want the bracelet then because it would always remind me of how I was treated. If local shops and clerks, who take themselves and their position way too seriously, want locals to shop with them they need to learn some common courtesy. I will never shop there again and I will certainly tell my friends and daughters of my treatment. read more

The store's collection is great, but the owner is not a honest person. She lie about the price and the year of the collection. When I found out the piece she sold me was from fall 2012 instead of current year (she told me so), she made more lies on top of the lie she made when she sold me the piece. She was extremely rude on the phone when I told her I found out about her lie. A person only wants customers' money, not anything else. I'll never shop there again even though I love their collection. read more

I moved to this area about two years ago and always admired the clothing in the window while having a fine meal at Crema Cafe. Only when my sister from Ohio came to visit did I venture in. What a dope! To think of all the opportunities I missed. The collection this Spring is outstanding. My sister and I didn't have nearly enough time to shop but she did find plenty of things to take home with her. If anything, you have to step in and seriously look around before driving down to South Coast Plaza. Jacqueline, her sister, mother and her assistant know an awful lot about clothes and pulling an outfit together with all the accessories... scarfs, purses, shoes, belts, necklaces. It's a one stop shop with lots of flair. I will be coming back again and again. Would appeal to young women say, 25+ and older women too. En plus, elles parlent francais! read more

I was not coming to shop on Main St. but having the eye for the exotic, I stopped in. As usual in these types of high fashion stores, i zoomed in on the 1/2 off rack and found a most beautiful one of a kind piece which i could not live without. Anyone who walks into a store like this has to expect designer prices...if you don't like it, check out Forever 21 or Heavenly Couture. I will cherish this lovely piece of clothing. I'm usually in the Seal Beach area and always see this small boutique but never stop by. Well a few days ago I decided to stop by out of curiosity and to see if I liked anything. Well let me just say that their items are lovely and have really unique shoes which I like. The NEGATIVE SIDE of this place? When I walked in two ladies who were speaking French, saw me walk in and didn't even greet me or say anything to me. They just kept talking to each other in French. When I saw a pair of boots that I liked I asked how much they were and if I could try on a pair my size. Well one lady completely ignored me and the other one just held up her finger signaling me to hold on a minute. They continued on with their convo (in French) and didn't even acknowledge me. I walked away and continued browsing their items and waited to see if they would finally help out their customer but they didn't. I was starting to feel annoyed and unwelcome so decided to just leave. What kind of service is that? Completely rude and unprofessional. I'll most likely never return. read more
