We left the store quickly. Store owner wasn't overly friendly and was talking to her friends who brought her a sticker from The "trump store." She made sure everyone could see her mug that said "too pretty to be a liberal". Yuck, we left quickly. Business owners should keep their political opinions to themselves. I just want to shop. I am sick of politics being everywhere I turn. It's just in poor taste. read more

What a creepy experience! I came in briefly with my 4 year old. We were not acknowledged whatsoever despite the store being empty of customers. The vibe was so ice cold I decided to bounce quickly. As we left, the woman working there glared at us. Evidently my child had touched a stuffed animal in the display window that fell over. As she fixed it, she shot daggers at him as if she was going to harm him. A little child! It was quite eerie and bizarre and needless to say I will never return here read more

I'm really disappointed with my experience at this gift shop. I called ahead looking for a specific Jellycat, and the woman on the phone was already rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, the experience in person was even worse. When I walked in, she didn't acknowledge me at all and stayed seated, continuing to read her newspaper or book. I had to approach her and ask about the item myself. She bluntly told me it had sold and offered no additional help--no suggestions, no information about similar items, nothing. The lack of basic customer service was shocking. The interaction felt extremely uncomfortable. She was completely disconnected and unwelcoming, and the way she treated me came across as biased and disrespectful. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I definitely won't be returning. On a positive note, there's a toy shop on the same block that was a completely different experience. Although they don't sell Jellycats, the woman I spoke to there on the phone was lovely, kind, and helpful. I would absolutely recommend them for any other toy-related purchases instead. read more

I really wanted to like this store. I came here with a family member and we were both disappointed and shocked at some of the ridiculous products being sold here. They seemed to have a wide variety of items, yet everything was extremely overpriced. I found one small Christmas ornament but it was priced at about $30 by the time tax would be added. Nothing I absolutely needed. While looking through the store, not one employee acknowledged us. We then saw some cute mugs, however the wording on these mugs absolutely killed the cuteness of the graphics. Full blown F-bombs among many other four letter and foul mouthed words on these mugs - placed right next to children's items on display in the store. After seeing this, we just left the store. At least put these types of items in an adult section. Just disgusting. read more

It's appealing to all age groups and dynamics. I'm in my early 20s and I think everything in here is so adorable, witty, and cute. I've bought stuff in here for my mom, boyfriend, and other relatives. They have aesthetically beautiful and amazing scented hand creams, soaps, and candles from trendy brands and designers. They have the most well-crafted handmade cards for birthday, graduation, etc. They have delicate jewelry and fun accessories and a small selection of clothes, cute eco-friendly rope dog toys in the shape of an octopus/lobster, etc. My boyfriend bought his mom a California-shaped candle holder here made of different materials/glasses/sand and it was beautiful and affordable. I've walked in a handful of times and am always so impressed by their selection. Ladies are genuinely helpful and attentive. I bought some Voluspa candles here once for my aunt and uncle and was able to choose the color of tissue paper and ribbon they so thoughtfully wrapped the candles in (for free). My favorite part is they don't jack up the prices. The Voluspa candles I bought were at market price. read more

I live down the street from this store and always walked by thinking I will come in one day. Today was the day, as my really good friend decided to come visit and it was her birthday. I walked over to Main Street frantically looking for a good last minute gift. Let me tell you, there's so many wonderful things at this store, you will be so confused to what you should get because you're going to want EVERYTHING. Price range was great too. The sales associate was so helpful, she just suggested the perfect things. She also wrapped my presents so well and put perfume on the tissue paper. I wandered into this shop a couple of weeks ago while waiting for friends at the local bar. I could have spent the entire afternoon going round and round and keep finding new items. This is a wonderful shop for hostess gifts, housewarming gifts, bridal shower gifts. All those little unique items that you would love, but probably not buy for yourself. Perfect gifts. Of all of the fantastic, delightful small businesses... This is, by far, my favorite boutique on Main, SB. It caters to women, children, candle lovers, and collectors of sorts. The first time I went in, there were two lovely women working and showing me around and to the dress that I saw in the window when I was taking a stroll one brisk evening. I was so determined to purchase this dress, and I'm not what you would consider a "girly-girl," but they made me feel that way. Every time I stop in, I am greeted and remembered. They are also very dog friendly. I brought my baby husky in one rainy afternoon with my mom, and they were so kind. I totally recommend this boutique for gift shopping, spoiling your girlfriend/wife/significant other, kids who love stuffed animals, and people who love a good smelling candle and other really neat gifts and small plants!
