Just don't have enough vehicles to choose from. Customer service is great but like I said just not enough vehicles to choose from.

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Town/Country Ford in Madison, TN. Here's why:…read more1) They charged 3480.00 to install a 150.00 water pump on my 2017 Ford Escape! I was forced to go to a dealership because they had the tools to do the job, which my local car repair did not. 2) When I wanted to get a detailed summary of why the cost was so much, I could not get anyone to talk to me or call me back soon. They put me on hold, they sent me to voice mail, finally a store manager came on the line and got on to ME for being upset because their was only one man working the service line and I should just be more patient (he implied the patience I should have). It is hard to be patient when you've just been told your repair would be 3480.00 with NO understanding of why! 3) Anyone who is not in the know about car repairs at the dealership must be given a heads up about what they charge for labor: approx. 295.00/hour! This is common courtesy! 4) I was so upset the man who was running the service line (by himself) said they would give me something off. When I got there to pick up my car, the cashier knew nothing about this promise. Again, I was upset at the poor treatment. Also, I see a sign that says "a 3% charge for any debit or credit card used, 3.00 for every 100.00." Again, a hardship, since when does a company with big repair costs ask their customers to pay extra just to use a credit/debit card? I ended up getting a 10% discount, because I demanded they make good on what I was told. This was helpful for sure, but I wondered at why I had to be put through all the stress and high costs in order to get 10% off. If you come to this business, be ready for a huge bill and lots of stress.

First, this review is an HONEST ACCOUNT of my experience with this company and my knowledge of the…read morebusiness from the point of view of the buyer. MY OPINION IS NOT FOR SALE. As I was reading these bad reviews, it was truly frustrating. So many of the problems people have written about were THEIR OWN mistakes. 1. When looking at online pricing, read EVERYTHING written on the website and in the terms of service that might impact the price. If they say the price may change if you don't finance with them, then expect a higher price. 2. Tell them before you buy that you want to take it to YOUR mechanic to look over. That is standard in the used auto business. If they say no, leave. 3. Warranties are only as good as the people offering them. I never buy a warranty. A car purchase is a major investment. Why wouldn't you do a Carfax to see how many people have owned the car or if it's been in an accident? Why wouldn't you, if at all possible, not contact the previous owner? Sometimes that is not an option, but sometimes it is. 4. Establish your budget before you go and hold to it no matter what a dealership person says. If they talk you into something you end up regretting, that is your own dang fault. 5. Most of all, NEVER fall in love with a vehicle. You ALWAYS have to be willing to walk off the lot. Negotiate the price you want, give them your budget, and if they cannot meet it, then leave. 6. The responsibility to get the deal you want is SQUARELY ON YOUR SHOULDERS. If you go to buy a vehicle and you are unprepared, then you must take responsibility for your mistakes. 7. NEVER spend hours at a car dealership sitting in a lobby or waiting on some manager. YOU are the buyer. If you don't get immediate help at every stage of this experience, tell them you are taking your money somewhere else. Remember, ALL car dealerships, whether used or new, are going to try to get as much money out of you as they can. In our 35+ year marriage (at the time), my spouse and I had never had a credit card or bought anything on credit except our home. It wasn't that we had a bad credit score, we pretty much had NO credit score. These people took a chance on us and gave us a good deal on a great car, and financed it. That was about 10 years ago. It is a beautiful vehicle. I still own it and it has run beautifully ever since. I did all of the things I mentioned above and got a good deal. Our credit score is now more than 800 and we have been able to buy our forever dream home. We could have never achieved that if this dealership had not taken a chance on a couple who previously did not believe in financing things. We had always paid cash for our cars, but this was a car I wanted that was a little out of our cash price range but still fit our overall budget. Of course, there was a short battle of give and take as to be expected; I don't think they were expecting a disabled old grandmother being as tough on them in negotiations as they were on me, but we quickly fell into a comfortable relationship of mutual respect. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. HOWEVER, I would NEVER expect them to give me anything. Any advantages or deals I want I WILL HAVE TO TAKE, and that happens by 1. being prepared, 2. doing my due diligence,, 3. having my own mechanic do a thorough check of the vehicle, and 4. sticking to my budget no matter what anyone there says. Oh, and NEVER discuss your credit score or give them ANY financial information other than your budget until you are at the point of sale. Your credit score, your salary and your financial information IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS until you are at the point of sale. ONLY THEN do you provide them with only what they need to complete the sale. And, NEVER provide financial info if you are paying cash. Most of all: you MUST be willing to walk away. THAT IS THE FOUNDATION ON WHICH YOUR EXPERIENCE IS BASED. Always Always ALWAYS be ready and willing to walk away.

Extremely odd and shady feeling experience. Went to look at a vehicle on their site which was…read morebasically a new one bought from a new vehicle dealer, noticed a very apparent ding and scratch that was not told to me prior. Worked out a price with the promise the scratch would be like it never existed, also was told they would knock $1000 off if I financed and could pay it off after 3 months. Go back the next day to do a final walk around and to finalize the purchase, they then say they can't fix the scratch/ding because it will not match (this was odd and BS), also looked at how they wanted to finance and it was going to cost $1400 more in interest by going this route so the $1000 less was actually $400 more. I had shopped with them years ago and had a bad vibe but was told they had new ownership and had new practices, obviously that is not the case. After reviewing the carfax it had some very odd transfers and notes, feel as if it may had been more to the story than told.

(They STILL haven't been caught). So my husband being the ONLY individual with income goes in to buy a vehicle from the Madison location who employs a "Shade Tree" Mechanic that before selling the vehicle causes MAJOR electrical issues installing the GPS tracker that affects the function of the transmission module, preventing it to run properly. Thinking, eh, it's a maintenence issue, my husband purchases a new transmission module only to no prevail. Husband takes it back in and that is when they found the electrical issue and told him that since there is a warranty on the module to return the module and replace it with a new one and that if that doesn't correct it to bring it back and that he could skip the next payment, since IT WAS THEIR FAULT. (What's the definition of insanity? To do the same thing over again, expecting different results, right? ). But, ok, thinking that they are working with us, my husband followed directions. Still, NO FIX! The same result occurred. So, he takes it BACK in and was told he bought it AS IS, that they were not responsible. Yet, it was their employee that damaged the vehicle before it left the lot. So, they said told him to leave the vehicle and they would take it to their shop and have their mechanic check it out and see if they could fix it. ‍ (Yeah, like we are now to trust that one). Anyway, he was told it would be the following Monday before they could pick it up and take it to their shop. Hubby stated he needed to work and was there any way they could put him something so he could, WILLING to still make payments since he would be working and he was told that they no longer do loaners but that they would get it fixed as soon as possible. That was about 3 weeks ago.(Oh, and let's not forget about the gentleman named Eric who was there for the drop off... yeah, came in while husband was talking with the staff and walked right past them head down, tail stuck between his legs straight to his office and NEVER came back out to help find any resolve, which tells me that he knew what he did and that he knows he's a crook)! During this time, there was conversation about how they would call when vehicle was done... yet, nothing! Hubby then makes phone call after phone call to get the opportunity to speak with someone. We kept getting told they were out of the office... even Tiffany, or no answer ALL TOGETHER. Finally, about a week later they call and said they would see what they could do to get him back on the road, after my husband emphasized that he needed to work so he could pay bills. Tiffany or whatever her name was, stated she'd call back that day and crickets....C.R.I.C.K.E.T.S.... crickets chirp, chirp! Today, 3 weeks later, husband contacts them to find out the progress on the repairs and was told that it's been sitting on the repo lot and work has not been done on the vehicle since they got it, yet have been LYING to us about working on it. So NOW, because he's been out of work (almost lost his position)we have bills that are past due, possibly facing foreclosure, and a little boy who not only lost his mother THIS February, but also, may not have a Christmas. Thanks WOOD MOTOR, I hope you take satisfaction in hurting a little boy's heart and causing financial strife to a family. YOU GUYS ARE CROOKED & FOUL HUMAN BEINGS! It's people like you that give humanity a bad name! But, I guess we are partially to blame in that we didn't check out your reputation and reviews because as I look over the reviews, it is my understanding that this Eric person is NOTORIOUS for his behavior when it comes to his SHADY business ethics & the issues with his customers & the vehicles they have purchased from him. I REFUSE TO RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY & ENCOURAGE ANY NEW CUSTOMERS TO GO ELSEWHERE! DO NOT USE THIS CAR LOT! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED... DO WHAT YOU WANT BUT WHEN THEY PULL THIS ON YOU, DON'T SAY I DIDN'T TELL YOU SO. They get these cars, damage them more than what they were, sell them for a higher price, FORCE you to buy full coverage insurance like it's a new car, and take advantage of people and their money. But, we should have known better when an arrogant putz that believes George Floyd was innocent, believes women are inferior, & uses his wife's death as a means to promote his business referred us to him. Like 2 birds of a feather, companies with poor business ethics associate with other shady companies with poor business ethics.
