A special shout out to Max who's helped me on various occasions. Since they don't carry a lot of the smaller sizes in the store, I do a lot of shopping online. Whether in the store or online, they have many pop-up sales where you can get a great price reduction on many of their items, so you can save a lot.

Sometimes it can be hard to get an attendant to let you into the fitting rooms but once you grab somebody, they're super nice. I've made returns and placed online orders and store and they're always helpful. I also really love their clearance selection which sometimes goes up to 50% off of the clearance price. I am a little annoyed at urban outfitters the larger company because I bought a pair of pants size 25 and they fit really well and when I went to purchase a pair of pants in the same size they were way too small as seen in the picture. I don't know why there's so much range within the same brand and styles pants. But that's not indicative of the workers at this location just the company.

I also enjoyed the runway of mannequins showcasing this season's looks, as this is reminiscent of the setup at Reiss, one of my favorite retailers. There is no getting around the fact that this location is one of the smaller Ann Taylors. As for a boutique-y feel, I would say not so much--in fact, the only concession to a customized shopping experience that I observed is the touchscreen monitor that gives shoppers access to anntaylor.com where they can view and order items that are not available in store. I must have timed my visit right as there was a great sale going on, which leads me to: the point of sale. I'll note that the space near the cashwrap could be expanded as there is really no place to stand and right at checkout is not the best time for the customer to feel hemmed in.
