I especially loved how they went out of their way to feature not only locally owned and produced items but female owned businesses! How great is that! I would describe them as what happens when Madewell spends a year abroad traveling the globe. The place has a eclectic vibe like Anthropologie but not too far out when you say "okay that looks like it was found in a thrift store after spending 20 years in a bus traveling with hippies!" The place features trendy denim mix with soft flowing cardigans and funky jewelry. They have brands like AG jeans and The Giving Keys. If you're in the area make sure you stop by.

i've never left a negative review before , so here goes . I visited the Talbots in Alpharetta…read morerecently and had one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I've ever encountered with who i believe is the store manager - Lisa . She was extremely condescending from the moment I walked in. Instead of being helpful or welcoming, her tone and attitude made me feel talked down to and completely unwelcome when i asked her to clarify something for me and she responded with " i'm trying to save you money, honey" and tried to hard sell me . she even made a face like i was a complete idiot . She is all about the store making money instead of customer service and this is not the first time that I've encountered her rudeness. I've shopped at Talbots for years and have always appreciated the brand's customer service, but this location was a stark contrast . I hope corporate takes a closer look at the management here, because this experience was unacceptable and does

However, I have been a…read morecustomer at this store since it opened and I have rated my experience as 5 star because in my long history, Lisa is clearly the exception. I have never met a salesperson at any Talbots store more rude, arrogant and inappropriate. Each and every other salesperson has been incredibly helpful, knowledgable and kind. Following my encounter with Lisa, I received a survey from Talbots asking about my experience. I asked for someone to call me for details. I have not yet heard from anyone, but I remain confident that Lisa is the exception.

I ordered socks to be shipped to me since the online app took my order twice then cancelled it…read moresaying they couldn't verify my address which was absolutely ridiculous. However, despite me saying ship them to my home address the person taking the order at the store pulled up an old PO Box I used to have at PakMail. For almost two weeks the package was lost inside the PakMail. The manager there is Michael and he signed for it so I know it was there but misplaced. I thought it could have been returned to sender also. So I called the New Balance store to tell them about the mixup. The store tried to make it right by ordering a second package of socks to be shipped from the Mall of GA store. It's going to be delivered to my house. Today I stopped by the PakMail to see if my package was found. It was at the bottom of a bin. I don't know why they couldn't find it last week. I just called the Alpharetta store to tell them the package was found and I wanted to pay for the second package. Mark answered and I tried to explain what happened and that I wanted to pay for the second package of socks. He must have been busy or in a bad mood or he didn't believe me. He curtly said enjoy the free socks. If it was a screw up on their part I shouldn't have to pay. It just doesn't feel right. I'm an honest person. Oh well, I go there at least once a year to buy shoes and socks.

You have so many to choose from, I was a bit overwhelmed, but Sharon helped me find the right shoe and even gave me style suggestions on when and what to wear. --Service/Staff-- I can't say enough about the staff for helping me out when the online order did not go through.
