What I considered great deals before, become mediocre deals without that extra 25% off. Regular stock is priced less than retail, but more than what I see in TJs and Marshalls. There is also less of it. I bought a Nina Leonard polka dot dress for $25; their original price was $50 (but I suspect it never sold for that.) Dresses by the same manufacturer are at Kohl's for about what I paid. Deal or no deal?! I'll give Nordstrom Rack another look, but my expectations won't be high.

I have never met a salesperson at any Talbots store more rude, arrogant and inappropriate. Each and every other salesperson has been incredibly helpful, knowledgable and kind. Following my encounter with Lisa, I received a survey from Talbots asking about my experience. I asked for someone to call me for details. I have not yet heard from anyone, but I remain confident that Lisa is the exception.

However, despite me saying ship them to my home address the person taking the order at the store pulled up an old PO Box I used to have at PakMail. For almost two weeks the package was lost inside the PakMail. The manager there is Michael signed for it so I know it was there but misplaced. So I called the New Balance store to tell them about the mixup. The store tried to make it right by ordering a second package of socks to be shipped from the Mall of GA store. It's going to be delivered to my house. Today I stopped by the PakMail to see if my package was found. It was at the bottom of a bin. I don't know why they couldn't find it last week. I just called the Alpharetta store to tell them the package was found and I wanted to pay for the second package. Mark answered and I tried to explain what happened and that I wanted to pay for the second package of socks. He must have been busy or in a bad mood or he didn't believe me. He curtly said enjoy the free socks. If it was a screw up on their part I shouldn't have to pay. It just doesn't feel right. I'm an honest person. Oh well, I go there at least once a year to buy shoes and socks.
