Yay! I'm a fan. Nothing out of this world about J Cleaners, other than the fact that they do a good job and it's reasonably priced. So far I've been pretty pleased with their quality and service. Case in point: I brought several dress shirts in that I hadn't worn in years, some of which have accumulated stains on the neck collar. I initially thought I would have to trash or donate them, however, I decided to give J Cleaners a shot at it. I showed them the stains, they said there was no promises but they would try. In the end I was extremely pleased as they were able to save them all - - spot free. On the other hand it's not really perfect r-ship. There is somewhat of a language barrier (Korean), so it's best to speak to them face-to-face as opposed to on the phone if you have technical questions. On one of my earlier experiences I was charged $7 for dry cleaning 1 pair of slacks, and I thought that was quite high (double the price). I called them and from what I could make out - - there was a tear in my pants and they sewed it up and billed me for it. I thought that was nice, however, I would have liked to have been notified or asked beforehand rather than someone just taking action w/o my consent. In the end I thought about it - - I would have likely agreed to having them fix it anyway, so I just let it go. Now I just check all of my clothes before I give it to them to ensure there aren't any tears or rips. About $3.50 for dry cleaning slacks, and around $2 to launder shirts - - which I think is pretty reasonable. I don't know if they have one hour service, however, they don't advertise it and I have yet to get it from them. read more

Bad business and unprofessional. My Husband & i had a home built within the city- and i was hoping this was going to be my 'cleaners & alterations' shop... Gave them a few changes; but not anymore. Wish them all the best- and anyone who goes here... I'll find a better & more professional place to give my money to. :) read more

I have been screwed on several occasions. I drive all the way from Belton to get service from this store. Just today. I paid more than what the cost was for dry cleaning and. I tried to get some of the clothing but was not able to for I did not have all the funds for she charged me more than what I was to pay. She argued with me stating that she altered new pants when all of the pants have been altered. Then she uses language in Korean as if I don't know what she is saying. Make your choice but I'm done with this place. Will have to pay more to ensure that I don't get screwed no more. read more

Beware of alterations. This company has always done well dry cleaning my suits. But then I had them let out the waist for two pairs of pants... I brought the pants home after the job and discovered a hole near where they sewed the seam. The hole was small, but it was still a hole - it wasn't just a puncture it was frayed around the edges which made it noticeable. Also there was some extra stitching to the right of seam they had been working on that shouldn't have been there, which indicates that they had tried to fix another mistake they had made. The other pair was worse: a slit had been made in the fabric near where the seam was sewn. Either they had caused the slit, or they noticed it when they were altering the pants and didn't inform me. I wouldn't have wanted the pants altered if I had known there was a hole in them. These were pants were part of my two best suits (Sax Fifth Avenue and Daniel Cremieux). To their credit, they refunded me. Overall, use them for dry cleaning as they have some of the best prices in town. Don't use them for altering. read more

I had some alterations made so that is all I am commenting on, not the dry cleaning. The alterations were ok, not great, just ok. I was a little upset that she tried to iron the dress which obviously was made from a material that should not have been ironed. There was a triangle mark on the dress, but it was on the underside of the dress so you couldn't see it unless you really looked. The price for the alterations was AMAZING! I took some pants to be hemmed and they did a great job as well. So overall I was pleased, but if the dress or outfit is really expensive I might take it elsewhere. read more

I would have liked to have written a good review here. I had been using this cleaner for about a year and they did pretty good. the price was good and they did a pretty good job. Then recently i took in some garments and when i got them back one of my multi colored shirts had been ruined with color bleeding. the shirt specifically said it was not to be steamed. I was very disappointed, i had this shirt laundered before and obviously never had that problem. I took it back and explained the situation, the owner said they would try and re-launder it, they tried a couple times and it didn't work. A good note is that they tried to fix their mistake at no cost, the bad this was a $100 shirt that they didn't offer me any compensation for at all. I also had some pants hemmed here and one of them has already lost the hem after only 1 wear. it is unfortunate that these events have happened as i was beginning to really trust this place. Overall, i would say if you have simple clothing, you should be safe and they do a good job, but you may want to think twice before taking nicer more delicate clothing. Sadly i will be looking for a new dry cleaner. read more

If you value your clothing in any amount, in my opinion, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!!! I am new to the area and took my clothes here, due to it being the closest to me and, oh boy, was that a mistake. They barely speak English, which was a huge problem trying to get this whole ordeal rectified. My husband's pants to his new suit got "stolen" and I spent an extreme amount of time and energy trying to get them to replace the cost of these pants. After all the haggling back and forth I finally had to settle with them because they refused to pay the whole cost to replace them. I will not be taking my business back to their store and would not recommend their services!!!!! I would give them NO stars. read more
