They steamed their barcode on my dress label and now it won't come off. I like to leave the labels on my expensive outfits and now I'm not able to leave it on because their barcode is permanently stuck on it. I was able to rip the barcode off of my romper labels with some difficulty, but the one on my dress won't budge. I specifically asked them to be careful with my outfits because they're expensive and fragile... yet, they still chose to STEAM the barcode on. While other places take a few days I got my garment back the next day - - I was pleasantly surprised. - I've utilized the coin laundry next door which I've found to be sufficient for my needs. There's 3 types of washers based off load size and the prices are just right, dryers are super hot too! - The entire staff here is very nice, professional, and accommodating. Then when I insist they have the nerve to give me one with wrong # of items and get in a huff when I ask for a corrected one. I've had things "disappear" with no proof. Best laundromat out of three I visited before coming back here. The only seating is in a TV area. (I prefer to read.) The cleaners is connected by glass double doors, I've gone there for change before; nice, friendly folks. The floor looks perpetually dirty. I was told by staff that it's cleaned nightly? Get someone new! They have a newspaper stand out front and a snack and beverage machine. All in all a good place to go. read more

Brought my granddaughters National cheer championship jacket here which as you can imagine is irreplaceable and extremely important to her , the first cleaning there was still a stain but it was a new employee that took the item and didn't tag the stains. The ladies that are usually there has it re cleaned over night for me and I swear it came out cleaner than when my granddaughter first got it. This is the best cleaners I've found in the area since moving here! I placed all my work pants on the counter and asked to them to starch what they could and dry clean what they couldn't, the lady laughed and said she got it. I dropped off 6 pairs of pants at around 7:30 that morning and all of them were ready for me to pick up after work. I am absolutely appauld by the unprofessionalism Valet Cleaners executes to their consumers. As a first time user of Valet Cleaners, I am very disappointed. This is the first time I have ever in my life utilized the services of a dry cleaner service and unfortunately have my doubts of using another one again, especially Valet Cleaners. I went into the new W. Adams office to have several items altered last Saturday Feb. 25, 2012. I was told that my items would be ready by Thursday March 1, 2012 after 4 p.m. Well upon my arrival at 5:30 p.m. on March 1, I discovered that my items were not ready. I was told the individual that completes the alterations had been sick. I can certainly understand that. I asked that someone contact in regards to when my items would be availible. After no communication, I went today March 3, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. Well again, my items are not ready. I never received a call to let me know otherwise. I was told to call Monday. This is unacceptable. After a entire week, no communication or courtsey on their part. I voiced my frustration and let the lady know that they are not very professional. I WILL NOT use Valet Cleaners again. I urge future customers to find dry cleaning services elsewhere. This is an outright disgrace and moreover A HUGE INCONVEINENCE!!! read more

Well I've been to many laundromat's in Temple , Tx this one is just a little better than. Others they do need to hire a laundry mat attendant that actually cleans ! I did mention it to an employee that works next door at cleaners ! But I guess message did or didn't get passed on . It doesn't do any good trying to make small improvements to laundromat when . When in long run your up keep isn't being attended to referring to cleaning this place needs a good deep cleaning . Not unless you have the funds to replace all machines due to lack of keeping them clean ! You only get 2 stars due to the small improvements but place still needs a lot work and could be better it's up to owner ! We have been using Valet cleaners since we moved to Temple more than 30 years ago. For the most part we have been happy with them. I have never had minor alterations (like a button dangling from a strand) automatically done and I have encountered a broken button now and then but for the most part the clothes were returned clean and pressed. In the last few months that has changed. Garments that had stains on them that I pointed out on leaving the garment (with a request for special care)--came back with the stain not only intact but steamed in. Something has changed and whether it is a policy change or a disgruntled employee I do not know but I am very hesitant to leave my better clothes now. read more
